【About The Wizard of Oz】

★One of the world's most famous series of stories, translated into over 50 languages

"The Wizard of Oz" series of novels has a total of 14 books?! After the release of "The Wizard of Oz" novel, a large number of fans wrote letters to novelist L. Frank Baum, eager readers wanting to see more stories in the series. Baum decided to continue writing... After the first novel "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz," he released thirteen more sequels, including "The Marvelous Land of Oz," "Ozma of Oz," and "Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz."

The "Wizard of Oz Story Collection" series, spanning twenty years of creation, has always conveyed positive and bright values. The protagonists in the stories, who must face various dark predicaments, always possess incredible courage, fearlessly stepping into the unknown, inspiring readers as they turn the pages. It's as if no matter how cruel reality is, above the rainbow, there will always be a place where dreams come true.

★Works adapted into TV, movies, games, musicals, etc., and inspired the birth of many other works

In 1939, Judy Garland, then only 18 years old, starred in a musical fantasy film of the same name, "The Wizard of Oz," playing the naive yet brave girl Dorothy, singing the now widely known "Over the Rainbow," becoming famous overnight. The film's plot and music were well-received, and its characters, dialogue, music, and costumes continue to influence contemporary American popular culture and film art, with its interlude "Over the Rainbow" remaining a best-selling golden oldie to this day.
