Hubei Provincial Museum

Hubei Provincial Museum is composed of three antique-style buildings: the Comprehensive Exhibition Hall, the Chu Culture Hall, and the Bell Chime Hall. Its layout reflects the "one platform, one palace" and "multiple platforms forming a group" high-platform architectural style of the ancient Chu State. Hubei Provincial Museum possesses four major treasures: the Zenghouyi Chime Bells unearthed from the "Tomb of Marquis Yi of Zeng"; the Sword of Goujian, a masterpiece from the cold weapon era; the skull fossil of "Yunxian Man" dating back 1 million years; and the "Four Loves" Plum Vase, a top-grade Yuan blue-and-white porcelain.
