- Please note: When arriving at Padang Bai from the Gili Islands, please proceed to your free drop service which will be waiting in the main square about 20m from the jetty. Only follow instructions by Golden Queen staff in official uniform, holding signs which say "Golden Queen". You may need to be proactive in asking for clear directions from them. This can be an uncomfortable situation for some customers, but unfortunately, Golden Queen is unable to prohibit local drivers from coming on to the jetty in this manner

Since I came in and waited before the pick-up time, I was able to board without waiting at all, and there was no air conditioner, but the boat was more comfortable than I thought. Rather than being a company that is too big, the number of passengers was moderate, so it was not complicated, and it was great to be able to take a seat and go.When I came back from Gili, I got on time and had the right number of people, and the office staff and boat staff were friendly. So I traveled in a good mood.
Hotel pickup was smooth and on time. Boat ride can sometimes be rough because of the weather. Make sure to have a very light meal before the journey if you experience motion sickness. Journey takes about 2 hours.
Highly recommended, hassle free tranport between bali and gili. We booked a round trip the pickup was on time, also the return. Only bad experience was on the return to padang bai drivers were persuading to take us in taxi instead of the golden queen bus and lied that it will take 3-4 hrs. however mellisa told us they were not associated with the company, so we went in the bus. Be careful not to give your tickets to anyone else except for golden queen.
Purchased one way I kept my pick-up time exactly, so I arrived at Padangbai port earlier than the ship departure time. It was a little embarrassing because it was smaller than the Ezakaya ship, but the facilities inside the ship were clean and new. The wave was not high on the day, so it was less shaken, but the boat is small. It took about 2 hours to Gili Trawangan. I think it's a little longer because I stopped by Lombok and Gili Air.
this was a really nice boat ride compared ri others. gave free water and we even saw a pod of dolphins swimming and jumping next to us on the way.
Service provided OK as expected. Pick up from the hotel on time. Boat departs on time as well. Beers for purchase on board.
Greasy busy trip. Didn’t take too long. The port at Padang Bai is closer than other ports to the Gili islands. The pickup from the hotel was great and everything was very smooth. Would recommend this compared to leaving from other ports, especially if you are staying in Ubud.
We were on a Golden Queen boat and the pick-up service was on time and the boat was very hot.
Fantastic experience. Lovely yellow boat. Travel to Gili T from Padang Bai took such little time. The lady who “persons” the Golden Queen booth is phenomenal and genuinely helpful. Pick-up and drop-off from our Ubud hotel was also timely, efficient, and the driver was kind. Klook is such a treat!
Amazing experience with golden queen fast boat travel from Bali to Gili T. We got picked up from Kuta to Pandang Bai port to Gili island. Driver was on time. The fast boat was great. The speed boat upper area was very happening with great music and beers. You’ll not get bored on the journey at all. Gili T back to Bali was great as well boat depart at 12:30 from Gili T. It will head to Gili Air to drop and pick up other passenger before heading back to Bali. The upper deck was amazing as well with great music and beers. Beers are sold for 40K rp. We even saw some dolphins on the way back to Bali. Complimentary transport to our hotel was also provided. Highly recommend!
