Niigata Katakai Festival Fireworks Festival Tour

This was my first time joining a Klook Katakai Fireworks Festival tour, and the overall experience was incredibly satisfying! Transportation to remote fireworks festivals is always tricky, so joining a tour was definitely the smartest choice. There was a Japanese tour guide and a Hong Kong tour leader with the group. The tour leader could communicate in Cantonese and fluent English, which was very thoughtful. The arrangements were well-organized, from guiding us in and out of the venue to gathering for the return trip. The most pleasant surprise was that the return bus arrived back in Tokyo at 3:30 AM. Before the trains started running, they thoughtfully arranged for us to rest on the bus until the first train departed. I'm very happy and satisfied, highly recommended!

The experience was good. We stopped at many rest areas along the way for restroom breaks and short rests. For the fireworks, you sit on wooden pallets, so we recommend bringing a cushion with good support. Umbrellas are not allowed, so please bring your own raincoat in case of unexpected weather.
