What to expect
This is a tour to take you deep into the Demiliratized Zone (DMZ), just a few miles from North Korean territory, to discover more about Korea's turbulent past. Despite its name, the DMZ is the area between two of the most heavily armed frontiers on earth. This no man's land is remarkably safe for tourists (and even world leaders) to visit, but is only accessible via group tours. Your guide will relate the fascinating history surrounding the area as you visit historical sites: war relics at Imjingak Park, Freedom Bridge across which almost 13,000 Korean POWs walked to freedom, the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel - an invasion route built beneath the border, the DMZ exhibition theater, and views of North Korea from atop the Dora Observatory.

I really enjoyed my tour of the DMZ with Seoul City Tours! Katie was an amazing tour guide who explained everything in a very educational & professional way, but at the same exact time made the tour very fun & relatable, and she was very friendly & kind & wanted to get to know who you are, where you're from & what you're about. The tour itself was amazing too getting to see the inside of North Korea and seeing all of the different historical sites and Katie was very accommodating and patient in teaching me & everyone else in the group which town/landmark was which. I definitely would highly recommend booking this tour, and be sure to ask for the slightly extended version I did which included a stop at the Suspension Bridge. You will not he disappointed and you'll regret it if you don't!
Dora was so knowledgeable and funny! We learnt so much on this trip and being able to listen to a first hand perspective from a North Korean defector was an eye opener. I highly recommend this tour to both young and old if visiting South Korea
Here’s a shorter version: I joined the DMZ tour from Seoul today, and it was an excellent experience. The tour was well organized, with comfortable transportation and a smooth schedule. Our guide, Spring, was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. She explained the history and significance of the DMZ clearly and made the visit both interesting and meaningful. I highly recommend this Klook tour to anyone visiting South Korea.
it really was a nice tour. We had good physical exercise 😂 but overall the OG Chloe (Seoul tour guide) was an amazing guide and very nice. Everything we saw was so interesting. Even if it was so hot and humid today we had a great time and it was totally worth it ^^
Eugeen/Hanki Lee was phenomenal!!! I was tired because I just arrived in Korea earlier this morning and then joined the tour after 2 hours lol I had no sleep but Eugeen’s energy was amazing!! I was awake the whole time because he’s really entertaining and knowledgeable. You have a really great tour guide. Please take care of him. He is genuine, he is a real person who is passionate not just about his job but also about your whole country. I love Eugeen!! Will definitely recommend this tour to my friends. This tour was very eye opening and informative. There is a significant amount of history to see, and explore. Our guide Camila was very kind, enthusiastic, and informative. As a couple of Canadian veterans, we truly enjoyed this experience. I highly recommend this tour to others.

Lily from Seoul City Tours was absolutely amazing. She had so much energy, made the tour super fun and her knowledge on the DMZ was amazing. The tour was perfect we covered so much, I especially enjoyed the defector talk and the observatory. the caves were tough but manageable and such a surreal experience too. seeing Lily’s smiling face at the end made it worth it. I highly recommend this tour and if you are lucky enough to have Lily as your guide you will have the best time!
