A few days later, we met tour guide Xiao Yu again. She was just as meticulous in her explanations and took great care of everyone. Although Ise isn't particularly popular with foreigners right now, if you like Japanese shrines and are interested in Japanese religious customs, the Ise Grand Shrine tour would be an excellent choice. We were also very lucky this time to witness the Meoto Iwa rope-changing ceremony, which only happens three times a year. It was a very cool experience.
