For my girlfriend's birthday, we had lunch buffet at The Peninsula Hong Kong for the first time. The service from the lobby staff and restaurant staff was excellent. Even though the hotel has a long history, the cleanliness and overall environment were exceptionally well-maintained. While the food selection wasn't extensive, you could tell the ingredients were very fresh. Since it was my girlfriend's actual birthday, the hotel also provided a complimentary small birthday cake. Based on this level of service, we will definitely be returning.

Although it's a top-tier price, the value for money is incredibly high. It's a beautiful place with a comfortable environment, creating a pleasant feeling. The service is also top-notch. High-quality ingredients include lobster tails that are crisp, springy, and fresh, richly flavored drunken shrimp, large and thick scallop sashimi, and three large platters of Japanese soy sauce abalone. The desserts are also beyond words. Highly recommended for celebrations.

Booking through Klook was convenient and a great deal. I finally got to try the famous buffet I'd heard so much about. While the variety of food wasn't extensive, it was more than sufficient. The lunch buffet included salmon wellington, beef tenderloin, and delicious desserts, along with sashimi, homemade ice cream, and the Peninsula's renowned abalone cooked on a hot stone, cheese, and various salads. My family and I were very satisfied and happy.

Today, my wife, my in-laws, and I went to The Peninsula Hong Kong in Tsim Sha Tsui for a buffet dinner to celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary. The buffet offered cold appetizers, sashimi, hot dishes, and desserts. The cold appetizers included Parma ham, smoked salmon, cucumber, and shrimp. The ham had just the right amount of saltiness and wasn't greasy, while the cucumber and shrimp were delightfully sweet and sour, making them very appetizing. For sashimi, there was sweet shrimp, tuna, and razor clams. The tuna and razor clams tasted fresh, and the sweet shrimp were succulent, sweet, and melted in the mouth. The chilled seafood selection featured crab legs, mussels, cooked shrimp, and abalone. The crab legs were sweet and fresh, the mussels and cooked shrimp were fresh, and the abalone had a delightful chewiness. Additionally, the hotel provided a complimentary seafood platter with scallops, razor clams, and crab legs, which was beautifully presented and tasted sweet and flavorful. The hot dishes highlighted Wellington lobster and sirloin steak. The Wellington lobster was tender with a crispy puff pastry, offering an excellent texture. The sirloin steak was rich in beef flavor, with every bite being satisfying. The lobster sauce wontons had thin skins and delicious fillings, and the lobster sauce was rich and aromatic. The garlic butter prawns were flavorful and springy. The beer chicken was juicy and tender with a nice marbling, perfect with a drink. The crab meat fried rice had soft grains and generous chunks of crab meat, which was very satisfying. The stir-fried clams were crisp and delicious. Furthermore, the Adenophora and Solomon's Seal soup was rich and flavorful, with ample ingredients and a moderate spiciness. For dessert, the New York cheesecake was smooth and creamy with a rich cheese flavor. Other dessert options included handmade chocolates and chocolate ice cream. The handmade chocolates had a balanced sweetness and rich flavor, and the chocolate ice cream was smooth and satisfying. The hotel also provided a complimentary strawberry watermelon mousse, which was refreshing and sweet. The hotel offered beverages, and I ordered a cold chocolate drink, which had delightful chocolate bits and was very satisfying. The hotel seating was spacious, and the food was delicious. The cold appetizers, chilled seafood, and hot dishes were all high quality, making it suitable for family gatherings and anniversary celebrations. My wife, my in-laws, and I enjoyed a wonderful wedding anniversary buffet dinner.

At the Peninsula the atmosphere & dining experience is great as expected. Even for a 3 hr dining mealtime seems inadequate as diners like my party just likes to take our time chat and eat. The food is good with international food selections. However there’s no complimentary refill on Tea & Coffee which is a bit of a let down. experience:

The environment here is beautiful and very comfortable, with a peaceful atmosphere. The tables and chairs are also very comfortable and spacious, making it perfect for celebrating special occasions. As for the food, it's about quality over quantity. There aren't many options, but each dish is exquisite and delicious. The prices are a bit high, but you're paying for a quiet and comfortable experience.

The food was excellent, not too much, and I was very satisfied. It wasn't overcrowded, the environment was comfortable, and the staff service was top-notch. My only slight disappointment was that the drunken shrimp still had the black vein.

We came here based on recommendations, and while the variety of food isn't extensive, each dish is beautifully presented. I really enjoyed the "blind box" arrangement, where guests receive a surprise dish at regular intervals, which feels very special. Additionally, the free-flow drinks are commendable. Most importantly, all the restaurant staff are friendly, polite, and courteous.
