Synopsis

“A somewhat uncomfortable, yet special convenience store — ultimately, it’s our story.” While living on the streets near Seoul Station, a homeless man named Dokgo crosses paths with Yum Young-suk, a woman in her 70s, after returning her lost wallet. That chance encounter leads him to a night shift job at her convenience store, “Always,” in Cheongpa-dong. Though he suffers from alcohol-related dementia and his speech and movements are awkward, Dokgo has a mysterious ability to win over customers and those around him, gradually becoming a steady and dependable presence who watches over the convenience store at night.
