[From Kumamoto] Mount Aso Crater and Takachiho Day Tour

We were very happy to meet Miss Julia, a Hong Kong tour guide who was exceptionally friendly. She was very skilled at speaking Japanese, English, Mandarin, and Cantonese to communicate with tour members from various countries. The driver drove smoothly and safely. They were very punctual and provided excellent service. This trip was truly wonderful.

This itinerary is excellent for independent travelers who aren't driving. You can visit the suburbs to see mountain views, spanning from the Kumamoto suburbs to Miyazaki. It's purely sightseeing, with no shopping stops. The tour guide speaks Chinese, Japanese, and English, providing simple explanations, and there's plenty of free time once you arrive at each location. If you manage your time well, our tour will arrive back at Kumamoto Station before 7:00 PM, allowing you to have dinner and do some shopping before returning to your hotel.

Ms Julia is kind and patient guide. The tour group is made up of all Japanese seniors, except me and my partner, so the tour was conducted in both Japanese and Chinese. There were quite a number of stairs to hike for this tour to get to Takachiho gorge, but manageable. It’s a nice and slow pace land tour.
