Da Nang Morning Half-Day Tour: Lady Buddha, Son Tra Peninsula & Marble Mountains with Lunch

Tu was an absolutely incredible tour guide and truly made our experience unforgettable. From the moment he picked us up from our hotel, he made sure everyone felt comfortable, safe, and well looked after. He was extremely knowledgeable and shared so much interesting history about the Lady Buddha, Son Tra Peninsula, and Marble Mountain, which made each stop even more meaningful. On top of that, he went above and beyond by taking us for coffee and letting us experience an insightful tour into the history of agar wood, pearls, and jade stones — something we didn’t expect but really appreciated. As a bonus, Tu is also a fantastic photographer — he captured some amazing photos for us that we’ll cherish forever! He has such a great sense of humour and made the whole day fun and memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly, highly recommend!

Excellent tour and one of the highlights of my trip to Da Nang! Tu was a friendly, funny, and knowledgeable guide who made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. As a solo traveler, I really appreciated how he helped take photos, and assisted with translations. The itinerary was well organized, the transportation was comfortable, and the timing at each stop was perfect. I had a great experience and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Da Nang.

This was a great morning out for a tour of the Son Tra peninsular. Our guide Mr Tu was awesome and would highly recommend you ask for him. The van transfer was comfortable, well air conditioned and the driver was safe. Mr Tu spoke clearly, is very knowledgeable and set a great pace for the group. He also prioritized the group’s safety and interests. This is a reasonably strenuous walking tour as there are 300 steps up and the same back down when exploring marble mountain. There is an option to take the elevator up/down the first 100 steps but the queue for this can be fairly long. The visit to the Linh Ung pagoda on monkey mountain however is a more pleasant walk. Dress comfortably with sturdy shoes and prepare for the weather before going. The tour rounds off with a lunch stop at a local restaurant where we were served Bun Cha, fried chicken rice and herbal tea. All in all would recommend it especially if you are up for some physical activity.

Wonderful trip, not only because of the places, but also due to our tour guide, Ben Phan.. Ben offers remarkable hospitality that not all tour guides would like to offer. He is very attention to details and listen to customer request really well. Going there with my parent, and he makes sure even elder people can join this tour smoothly. He is also really helpful during the trip and can help you to take nice pics and videos during your trip 😄.. Overall, these 2 Linh Ung Temples are worth to visit when you are in Da Nang.. Having Ben as your tour guide would be a great bonus for your trip 😁

Our tour guide, Ben, was excellent. He showed us all the places in the temple, helped us take photos, and was very kind regarding our well-being throughout the journey. The tour involved 200 steps, and he took care of the whole team very well. He was very accommodating with lunch because I had some food preferences, and he ensured I had a pleasant experience. Definitely worth the visit! I can’t talk about this experience without thanking Mr. Ben for his incredible service and attention to detail. While I was pregnant, he made sure everything was as easy and comfortable as possible, which I truly appreciated. The trip included breathtaking views, fascinating insights, and an authentic lunch. Ben also went the extra mile by sharing his local recommendations, which were an unforgettable experience. Note: He’s also excellent at taking photos and videos!

Our tour guide, Tom, was very witty and informative! He was very energetic and also very supportive when it came to how taxing the steps can be. I’d say if you want the full experience to be prepared to climb close to 300 or so steps. It is worth it though to see the beauty of the mountain and the landscapes.
