Xiling Snow Mountain Scenic Area

Tickets, packages, and cable car tickets: Applicable to visitors aged 6 (excluding) and above. Age is calculated based on the date of birth, with the date of travel as the standard.

Free admission for tickets, packages, and cable car tickets: Visitors aged 6 years (inclusive) and under are admitted free of charge. The age calculation standard is the same as for adult tickets.

It is recommended to book 1 day in advance, and 7 days in advance for holidays (winter season).

[Notice for Admission]

The scenic area is open from 08:30 to 17:30 (last entry at 16:00). Foreign and domestic tourists are subject to the same standards.

The following items are prohibited from being brought into the park: pets, fireworks, firecrackers, and other similar items.

[Warm Reminder]

The Yuanyang Lake and Riyueping Ropeway have specific operating hours; ride them as needed.

The temperature difference between day and night is large in mountainous areas, so it is recommended to wear warm and slip-resistant clothing. Basic skiing equipment is included in the relevant package, and other equipment can be rented on-site.

The ski resort offers free public ski lessons during the snow season. The viewing effect of Riyueping is greatly affected by the weather, so it is recommended to check the weather before booking tickets.

The scenic area visitor center provides public service points, and the scenic area is equipped with catering and restrooms.

Precautions

The highest altitude in the scenic area is about 3200 meters. Avoid strenuous exercise to prevent altitude sickness. Please walk along the designated trails and strictly follow the scenic area's guidance when taking the cable car.

Wildfires and damage to scenic area vegetation are prohibited; minors participating in skiing activities must be accompanied by an adult at all times and select ski runs according to their skill level.

Non-skiing visitors are prohibited from entering the core area of the ski trail.

[Seasonal Play Features]

Spring (March-May): The snow melts, azaleas cover the mountains, Davidia involucrata blooms, and alpine meadows begin to turn green, making it a great time for spring outings and flower viewing.

Summer (June-August): The sea of clouds lingers, with an average temperature of about 20℃, making it a great summer resort in the forest. You can watch the sunrise, view the wonders of the Yin-Yang boundary, and hike to absorb oxygen.

Autumn (September to November): The mountains are ablaze with color, with red maples, yellow leaves, and green pines intertwined. Riyueping offers excellent views, often revealing a scene of "autumn colors on one side of the mountain and snow on the other," making it a great season for photography.

Winter (December to February): The snow-covered forest and snowy plains are home to high-quality ski resorts in the south, where you can experience skiing, playing in the snow, and night skiing, immersing yourself in a winter wonderland.

You do not need to collect tickets to enter the park or ride the cable car. Simply scan the QR code in the Klook confirmation email attachment directly at the gate.

Tickets or cable car reservations can be used 1 hour after successful booking.

Self-driving: From Chengdu, take the Chengdu-Mingyang Expressway and transfer to the Dashuang Road. Go directly to Parking Lot No. 1 of the scenic area. The journey takes about 2 hours. There are many mountain road curves, so drive carefully during the snow season. The parking fee is 20 yuan/time.

High-speed rail + special line: Take the high-speed train from Chengdu West Station/East Station to Dayi Station (30 minutes), and transfer to the scenic tourist line at the exit to directly reach the scenic spot (1 hour).

Direct bus: Fixed departures from Chengdu Chadianzi Passenger Transport Station every day (mainly at 9:00 and 9:30), the journey takes 1.5-2 hours. Additional departures will be added during peak seasons.
