What to expect

Starting from Nagoya, embark on a three-day, two-night light trip, visiting five popular central Japan attractions: the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Kamikochi, Hida Takayama, Shirakawa-go Gassho Village, and Gujo Hachiman.

Tateyama Kurobe offers different scenery throughout the four seasons. In spring (mid-April to late June), you can admire the world-famous "Snow Corridor" (Yuki no Otani), reaching heights of approximately 10-20 meters, and walk through the spectacular snow wall corridor. From late June to early July, there's still a chance to see residual snow in high-altitude areas. Every year from June 26th to October 15th, you can witness the breathtaking spectacle of the Kurobe Dam discharging water. Autumn brings the vibrant red foliage of the Japanese Alps. No matter when you visit, you can experience the unique charm of Tateyama Kurobe's four seasons.

Unlike rushed itineraries, we reserve ample time for you to leisurely stroll through ancient streets, admire the beautiful mountain scenery, experience the relaxed atmosphere of World Heritage villages, and savor the distinct charm of central Japan's four seasons. Along the way, pay attention to the small landscapes around you, take a favorite photo, send a postcard, or leave your travel footprints with Pikmin, making every step a cherished memory.

Review for: Classic Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route 3-Day Tour (Double Occupancy)

The overall itinerary was smooth, and there was ample time to explore each tourist spot. Our tour leader, Kevin, provided excellent care and arrangements, and even helped us take photos. However, the itinerary stated two nights at a hot spring inn, but unfortunately, we only stayed there on the first night, which was a bit disappointing.
