Reviews
Initially, I was a bit worried because there weren't many reviews, but the tour operator was really proactive and helpful with instructions. Our driver was fantastic - friendly, supportive, and a very skilled driver. He handled all the ticket purchases and helped us with our luggage. He frequently checked in to make sure everyone was comfortable also. Although the long drive was tiring, it was absolutely worth it. Bipenggou and Dagu Glacier are stunning! Dagu Glacier is a hidden gem, the sightseeing bus stops at several great photo spots, and the views from the cable car and the mountaintop cafe are breathtaking. The hotel provided was clean, modern, and spacious. While breakfast was poor, the location was perfect - right next to Dagu Glacier, making our second day very easy and enjoyable. Even though I originally booked a large bus tour, the operator changed us to a small group of 3 because there weren't enough people, which made the trip even more convenient. Highly recommended!!!
This was a very private trip, especially since we came on a weekday. Even though there were only two of us, we still received excellent service and it felt like a private tour. The driver was polite and offered great recommendations. For anyone worried about not speaking Chinese and having communication difficulties, you can easily chat via WeChat. It's very convenient.
Catching the last bit of snow, I absolutely loved the scenery at Bipenggou. The combination of snow pines and white snow made it look like nature was draped in silver, truly breathtaking. The accommodation was also excellent, with a comfortable environment that allowed me to rest well every night. The biggest surprise was the firewood chicken; it was incredibly delicious and so satisfying!
This snow trip to Bipenggou and Dagu Glacier was really great! The snow scenery of Bipenggou is picturesque, like walking into a fairy tale world. The snow mountains of Dagu Glacier are even more amazing. Taking the cable car up, looking at the snow mountains and glaciers, it's simply shocking. The whole itinerary was arranged very reasonably, not too rushed, and the driver was very steady. We had a lot of fun playing in the snow!
There were some issues with the trip, but both klook and the China tour operator helped to resolve them. The trip driver was patient and helpful. The van was comfortable. Bring your own toilet paper and hand soap because public toilets in the Siguniang and Bipenggou areas may not have supplies.
The service was excellent. I really appreciated their effort to communicate and ensure we understood everything. My travel companions were also very pleasant. There were only 5 of us in total, including the driver. The car was comfortable, and the driver was very calm.
I was the only English speaker in a group full of chinese, i knew this was an all chinese tour and it sure did lived up to what it said, luckily i knew a little chinese just to get by, for those who can’t speak chinese at all, you will have a hard time understanding what’s going on. The hotel was not 4 stars worthy at all, I would give it only 2 stars, it was not modern and kinda gave a creepy vibe, i paid 40$ more for a single room and expected something that was worth the price. Overall, i really enjoyed the itinerary and the mountains, i was left to explore on my own and given a set time to return. There was apparently a free professional photography session which i missed because of the language barrier. The driver who also acted as a tour guide was very helpful and attentive to me despite the language barrier, 谢谢大哥。
This trip to Bipenggou and Dagu Glacier for snow play is perfect for winter! The snow scenery in Bipenggou is beautiful, with snow-covered trees and mountains making you feel like you've entered a snow country. The snow mountains of Dagu Glacier are truly spectacular, and the view from the cable car is simply amazing. Playing in the snow feels fantastic!
The snow scenery of Bipenggou and Dagu Glacier is so beautiful! The snow in Bipenggou completely immerses people in nature, especially suitable for taking pictures. The snow-capped mountains and skiing projects in Dagu Glacier are super exciting, especially suitable for people who like to play in the snow. The two-day trip is very fulfilling, but not too tiring, and the driver's service is also very good. Overall, a very satisfying experience!
Dagu Glacier is really too beautiful, like a scene from an anime, snow + blue sky, it's really very healing. It's really cold, and not so easy to climb, but after climbing it, seeing the scenery, I still feel that everything is worth it. This tour group was okay, the driver was also quite responsible. There weren't many people in our group this time, only 6 people in total, and they were all young people, so we got along quite well. That's the good thing about small groups, not many people, so it's relatively comfortable and flexible. Worth recommending!
Good to know
- This itinerary is a group tour. Each person can carry one piece of luggage under 28 inches. Please note!
- Respect local customs and habits. The local Tibetan and Qiang ethnic groups have unique national cultures and customs. During the trip, you should respect local customs and national beliefs.
- It is not recommended to purchase round-trip air tickets and train tickets on the day of the group's disbandment. If the guest misses the flight due to irresistible factors such as traffic jams, the travel agency will not bear any responsibility. Please be aware!
- Conditions in the Tibetan areas are limited (water and power outages are common). Please bring your own toiletries, flashlights, wet wipes, etc. Friends with洁癖 (germophobia) should bring their own sleeping bags.
- When traveling, pay attention to your health. Do not eat raw food, raw seafood, peeled fruits, or patronize unlicensed roadside stalls, and avoid overeating. Drink more boiled water, eat more fruits and vegetables, smoke less, and drink less alcohol. When first arriving on the plateau, do not bathe within 2 days. After 2 days, it depends on your physical condition, to avoid catching a cold which may cause or worsen altitude sickness and affect the entire trip.
- The travel agency provides basic travel accident insurance, but does not purchase it on behalf of guests. If tourists believe that the insured amount cannot meet their needs, they can purchase high-coverage insurance themselves.
- There are many things in Western Sichuan travel that you cannot understand or tolerate in a bustling city: in terms of hardware, there are problems with water, electricity, and transportation. Sudden water and power outages often occur, and temporary traffic controls often catch us off guard. Please be mentally prepared.
- If some attractions in the itinerary encounter sudden accidents, closures, maintenance, or other objective reasons, or unexpected situations occur, the team leader will provide an itinerary change plan and try their best to ensure the smooth progress of the itinerary. The change plan will be voted on by all team members, with the minority obeying the majority. The tour time will be adjusted or relevant ticket fees will be refunded according to the actual situation, and any additional expenses incurred due to the change will be borne by the traveler.
- Our company is not responsible for itinerary delays or other expenses caused by irresistible factors (weather, delays, etc.). Such expenses shall be borne by the guests themselves. If the railway bureau temporarily cancels a train, all compensation will be handled according to the railway bureau's compensation system and has nothing to do with our company.
