What to expect
Ichihara Shouten is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from Asakusa Station and a 1-minute walk from Senso-ji Temple, making it an ideal spot for sightseeing in Asakusa. The same building also houses a kimono rental shop, zōri and geta stores, a traditional clothing store, an omamori (amulet) experience, and rickshaw rides—offering a variety of Japanese cultural experiences.
Zori (Traditional Japanese Sandal) Making Experience ■ Schedule on the Day We will guide you at the reception desk. An apron will be provided for you. You will select your zōri and straps. (The completed zōri can be taken home.) Additional fees may apply depending on the zōri and straps you choose. The experience takes approximately 60 minutes.
