An authentic demonstration of a Matcha tea ceremony. Afterward, we were also allowed to prepare a tea ourselves under guidance, using the typical "bamboo whisk." At the end, we collectively prepared a traditional Japanese sweet. Excellent!
I really enjoyed the experience! The host is very friendly, explains patiently, and shows passion for what she's doing. It's very enriching to participate in the ceremony while visiting Japan.
We really enjoyed the tea ceremony, learned a lot of background information, and all of our questions were answered.
A very interesting experience! First, we watched the teacher's professional demonstration of the entire tea-making process, and then we got to make our own wagashi (Japanese confectionery) and simply whisk tea. It was a really fun experience! 👍
