Premium Street Food Walking Tour In Ho Chi Minh City

We had a fabulous Ho Chi Minh City food tour with our guide, Ken. The tour included 12 different tastings and introduced us to a wonderful variety of Vietnamese foods that we almost certainly wouldn’t have tried on our own, including bánh khọt pancakes, Vietnamese pizza, beef wrapped in betel leaves, and several fruit drinks. One of the things we particularly enjoyed was that this was a walking food tour. Walking between the different stops gave us time to digest between tastings while also allowing us to see different neighbourhoods and experience more of everyday life in the city. Ken was energetic, engaging and very knowledgeable. As we walked, he told us about much more than just the food, explaining how people in Ho Chi Minh City live, eat and spend their free time. This made the tour feel like an introduction to local life as well as Vietnamese cuisine. A highly recommended tour and one of the highlights of our time in Ho Chi Minh City.

Highly recommended tour. We had Kristen who guided us through streets we would not have seen. The food choices were varied and excellent, we enjoyed every one. This tour was the best one I’ve experienced in many years. It was good value for money, tasty food choices and we also stopped in parts to learn more about Vietnam, its people and history. Definitely worth doing.

Fantastic Food Tour with Francis in Ho Chi Minh City! We booked a walking food tour via the Klook app and had an amazing experience with our guide, Francis. He was extremely professional and curated a great variety of local dishes for us to try. I’m vegetarian, and he went out of his way to accommodate my dietary needs — I was genuinely amazed by the delicious vegetarian options across the city! My partner and I had an incredible time exploring Ho Chi Minh City on foot, learning about the culture, and tasting so many different flavors. Highly recommended — be sure to ask for Francis as your guide!

The guide tour is truly amazing, our great appreciation to Leon, our guide. He was knowledgeable and full of passion of the city. We deeply enjoyed the whole trip and all of our curious questions were well answered, given us some unique understanding of the Ho Chi Minh City. And for the food set, there’s nothing to complain, we got truly impressed several times, none of them was under expectations. The portion is really much so if anything could be improved, maybe a longer route to help digest during the trip will be somehow helping.

What a awesome night throughout our walking tour ✔️ Harry our guide was great, full of knowledge, super easy to get along with and a great sense of humour. Food….. beautiful street food that you wouldn’t try otherwise! The history of the local area was surprisingly great to know and explained well by Harry (he has a passion for the tour) PS…. You won’t go hungry as there is so my food (we did the 12 dish tour) ⭐️ 🎉🍺

Ah, what can I say. Magical. 3 hours of being engrossed in local food and culture. Wander off the tourist track and see how the average Saigonese live and taste the food they eat. Our guide told us stories about Saigon you might not otherwise hear and history you may not have known. And, then there was the food.... wonderful. Absolutely worth it

I recommend trying the food on the first day because I only joined on the last day. There were many delicious street snacks that I was originally worried about the hygiene of and didn't dare to eat. I feel like I missed out on some local art that I could have experienced. Our guide, Alvin, has excellent English! I was originally worried about my poor English, but he was able to understand everything I said. He was also able to interject with many everyday life stories during the process. He's a very competent guide.

our guide was Francis. He was excellent and very knowledgeable. We loved trying all the different foods and walking around the old city area learning about how the locals lived. we would highly recommend.

This tour is a must-do if you love food! It's well planned and all the spots that we visited were absolutely iconic and delicious. Our guide Francis was amazing. He cater to our dietary differences and made sure we are all looked after. He even help the vendors to set the table for us when they are too busy. He shared with us a lot of food related back ground and local life experience. We love it!
