What to expect
✨Spend a day traveling between the ancient capital of Nara and Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park, embarking on a relaxing and surprising journey amidst historical culture, natural scenery, and joyful experiences.
- 🦌Begin your journey to the ancient capital of Nara, with the first stop at Nara Park, home to adorable sika deer. They are friendly to visitors and often approach for food, so be careful not to be surrounded by a "deer attack"! Stroll through the park and visit the world's largest wooden building, Todai-ji Temple, where the 15-meter-tall Rushana Buddha is enshrined in the Great Buddha Hall, offering a sense of awe and tranquility.
- ⛰️Next, ascend Mount Wakakusa, a hill covered in green grass, offering an excellent vantage point for panoramic views of Nara. In summer, the green grass is like a carpet, with cows and horses leisurely grazing; in winter, you can experience the unique "Wakakusa Yamayaki" (grass burning festival), where roaring flames light up the night sky, showcasing the charm of traditional Japanese culture.
- 🏮Along the way, don't forget to visit the vibrantly colored Kasuga Taisha Shrine, built in 768, which perfectly blends with its surrounding nature. In late spring, thousands of wisteria flowers hang like waterfalls, as beautiful as a dream. Stroll along the stone path lined with ancient lanterns, feeling the mystery and tranquility.
- 🎡In the afternoon, head to Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park (if temporarily closed; alternative: Hirakata Park), which has a history of nearly a hundred years and offers various thrilling and fun rides. The aerial monorail bicycle is highly recommended; slowly gliding through the air, you can enjoy the magnificent city and mountain views of Nara, Osaka, and Kyoto, making it a perfect spot for photos.
- 🗓️The full-day itinerary is flexible, offering cultural relics, natural scenery, and exciting experiences, suitable for families, friends, or couples. Choose your own lunch along the way and enjoy a leisurely travel pace.
- ✨Bring your good mood and join us to encounter the ancient charm of Nara, ride the Ikoma Sanjo aerial bicycle, and experience the perfect blend of ancient capital charm and natural beauty!

It was a wonderful visit. The meeting point was easy to reach, the driver drove safely, and the guide was very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. The Christmas park is beautiful, but the Great Buddha is even more so.
great tour, plenty of time, jack was most helpful!. adventure park had popular rides closed and was definitely dedicated to younger children under 10
The entire trip involves convenient transportation. The tour guide thoughtfully introduces information about each location, and there is ample time to explore.
Everything was smooth, fast, efficient. Special thanks to the tour guide who held this all together and made the journey a fun a memorable one! Would definitely recommend this booking to others. much love and appreciations!
I had a wonderful experience on this tour! The sights were beautiful, everything was well-organized, and the pace was just right. A special thank you to our guide, Sir John, who made the trip even more enjoyable with his friendly attitude. He answered all our questions with patience and made sure everyone felt included. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable and smooth travel experience.
I enjoyed the trip. has enough time to explore Nara and the amusement park. our tour guide, Ka Za Ma is nice and very helpful in guiding us in this tour
We were supposed to meet at Nihonbashi at 9:00 AM, but our train transfer went smoothly, and we arrived by 8:30 AM. Close to 9:00 AM, there wasn't a single tour member, and I thought the tour had been canceled. However, an Alphard actually came to pick us up, and it was just our group, essentially a private car for a day trip! Our guide first took us to Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park. Arriving at 10:00 AM, there didn't seem to be many visitors, which was a unique experience. We didn't have to wait in line for any of the rides; most only had one or two groups of guests, which was really nice. However, each ride cost between 300-500 yen, so we ended up spending almost 10,000 yen there. After playing for over two hours, we headed to Nara Park. After lunch, we went to the deer feeding, which was what we were most looking forward to. Xiao Dong was super excited, while Xiao Xi was both scared and delighted; their reactions were really amusing! Still, we tried not to let them get too excited, as we were worried they might get hurt. Next, we headed to Todai-ji Temple. It was so massive that we couldn't possibly see it all; my legs were already tired just walking out without even entering the main hall!
Today was a relaxed and wonderful day exploring the Nara Park area, Wakakusa Mountain Park, and Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park. The weather was perfect, and we even caught a stunning sunset. Our guide, Casper, was incredibly helpful, taking photos for us and providing detailed information about each attraction. Overall, it was a fantastic day!
This was our family of four's first time experiencing a private car tour during our trip to Japan. We didn't have to worry about transportation or time management on this trip. Our guide, Xiao Qin, managed the time throughout the entire journey. It was easy to get on and off the vehicle, and convenient for restroom breaks. When our two young children got tired, they could sleep in the car with us, and we'd arrive directly at the next destination where they could wake up and continue playing. After the tour ended late at night, we returned to the original pick-up point, fully recharged and ready to go back to the hotel for a good night's rest. My two children, my husband, and I were able to rest and play during this trip, so the whole family wasn't exhausted. It was a very comfortable experience.
The amusement park is mostly for kids not a must visit. but the first stop Nara city was good. Our guide for fairly quiet didn’t tell us much accept for where to go and when to come back.
