The driver, a Chinese-speaking gentleman, picked us up punctually at the hotel entrance. His service attitude was excellent 👍🏻. He drove very well and steadily, explaining the route clearly, which allowed us to smoothly and comfortably feed the deer in Nara. He then took us to Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Sannenzaka/Ninenzaka. The itinerary was rich and we were very satisfied 👍🏻. If you're traveling to Osaka with elderly people or children, this type of car rental tour is highly recommended. On the return trip, the driver kindly agreed to our request to drop us off at the Namba shopping district. Since we had to leave for the airport around 4 PM, we opted for a half-day private car tour of Kyoto (10 hours). Our driver, Mr. Ma, arrived promptly at 8:00 AM at our hotel near Tennoji to pick us up. The car was very clean and comfortable, and Mr. Ma thoughtfully provided us with water. Mr. Ma speaks Mandarin, which made communication very easy, and he clearly informed us of all pick-up and drop-off locations. The journey from Tennoji to Arashiyama, Kyoto, usually takes about 1.5 hours, but because we departed during Monday morning rush hour, there was some traffic, and it took us nearly two hours to reach Arashiyama. We visited Togetsukyo Bridge, Tenryu-ji Temple, the Bamboo Grove, and rode the Sagano Scenic Railway. We also had lunch and bought souvenirs in the shopping street, which took almost 4 hours, so we didn't have enough time to visit Kinkaku-ji Temple. We were very satisfied with the entire trip; having a private car was incredibly convenient. Highly recommended!

This time, traveling from Osaka to Kyoto, I initially wanted to take the train. However, after discussing it with my companions, we decided to charter a car. Although we encountered some traffic, the driver's enthusiastic service and the beautiful scenery made the trip very enjoyable. Chartering a car is incredibly convenient; we were picked up directly from our hotel and dropped off back at the hotel, saving a lot of walking time and energy. Smooth sailing experience on this chartered ride. Driver was approachable and accommodated a few changes of just staying in Kyoto and removing our Nara tour coz he mentioned the Mochi pounding place is closed on Tuesdays. We just decided to visit Arashiyama again 😊. Overall, chartered is always worth it and value for money esp if there are senior passengers. Arigatou gozaimashita! 🫶🏼

Service: Because we needed transportation for the day and didn't want to waste a day dragging our luggage around, we booked a private car for the day. We chose the Kyoto route, and the driver actually discussed our plans with us when he arrived (we were first-timers and didn't know what to do). He suggested going straight to Fushimi Inari Shrine, saying it was the highlight and that nothing else was really necessary. Also, since we left without eating breakfast, he first took us to Arashiyama, saying we should see the bamboo forest (but we didn't actually see it). At Tenryu-ji Temple, visiting the inner chambers and the exterior required separate tickets, which we didn't know. We thought it was all one ticket, so we visited the interior first. Since the exterior required another ticket and the time it would take was quite long, and we still hadn't gone to Fushimi Inari, we decided not to see it, essentially wasting a visit to that attraction. Overall, the driver was a friendly uncle who had been in Japan for 13 years, but he didn't provide any information about the attractions or the history of the city. He was just a nice Chinese driver to chat with, which was enjoyable. However, as for the "tour" aspect of the private car service, he wasn't very helpful and mainly just provided transportation.

Private car rental going to Kyoto and Nara from Osaka is very worth it. Our driver Yuki is very efficient and she takes us to the places safely. Will definitely recommend if you want a hassle free vacation around Kyoto and Nara.

The driver was very professional and courteous, communicated smoothly throughout the entire journey, and had a friendly attitude. Their driving skills were stable and superb, and they were familiar with the routes, driving very smoothly on both city roads and mountain roads, which made us feel at ease. We were so lucky to explore Kobe with Brother Tu this time; it was both relaxing and incredibly fulfilling! The private car itinerary was perfectly arranged. Brother Tu not only provided detailed itinerary suggestions but also offered many practical tips based on our needs. At Mosaic Garden, he even took us on a special tour, carefully pointing out all the best photo spots, telling us which angles were most beautiful, and planning a smooth walking route so we could go directly to the restaurant for lunch without having to figure things out ourselves. On the way to Arima Onsen in the afternoon, Brother Tu also gave us a brief introduction to the local characteristics and shopping highlights, allowing us to easily and freely plan our time upon arrival, ensuring we fully enjoyed Kobe and got some great photos. Especially in the hot summer, having a private car truly saved our feet. We didn't have to rush for buses or transfer, making the trip comfortable and efficient. If you want to explore Kobe in depth and with ease, a private car is definitely a highly recommended option! 👍
