What to expect

We will depart on time from a designated location in Datong city in the morning and drive to the Hanging Temple in Hunyuan County. This temple, built in the Northern Wei Dynasty, hangs on a cliff with a unique architectural style, as if integrated with the mountain. Walking through it, every step is on the context of history, marveling at the wisdom and courage of the ancients.
After the tour, we will head to Ying County. The Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, as the tallest and oldest wooden pagoda existing in the world, still stands after thousands of years of wind and rain. Its exquisite structure and beautiful brackets are amazing. Here, you can deeply feel the breadth and depth of ancient architectural art.
In the afternoon, we will go to the Yungang Grottoes, one of the four largest grottoes in China. The Buddha statues in the grottoes have different shapes and are lifelike. Each one carries historical memories. Walking through it is like traveling through thousands of years and talking to the ancients.
After the tour, we will return you to a designated location in Datong city, ending a fulfilling and wonderful day trip.
