Took a weekday off on 2025/10/2 to visit the National Palace Museum (the first time at the renovated Exhibition Building II). I thought it wouldn't be too crowded since it wasn't a Friday, but a bunch of locals packed in after noon. So, it's better to get in early if you want to see the exhibition. Also, there aren't many places to sit inside the exhibition hall, so be prepared to walk until your feet hurt. The Metropolitan Museum of Art paintings at least made it feel like the trip was worthwhile. It's worth the ticket price for those who like Impressionist masters, but if you come on the weekend, be prepared to be packed like sardines from the bus to the exhibition hall. There are quite a few people even on weekdays.

Buying presale tickets is cost-effective, and the QR code is convenient. You can bring a camera to take pictures, just no flash.👍 There are free lockers available outside the venue. The quality of viewing the exhibition is better on weekday mornings.

Bought early bird tickets for two on Klook, very convenient. Great exhibition, great paintings! However, the number of paintings was less than expected, and the visit was completed in about an hour.

The overall space is comfortable, and the artworks are very appealing. You can not only appreciate the beauty of art, but it is also a great place suitable for visitors of all ages.

The exhibition's artwork is divided into five major themes, showcasing different painting styles and famous painters' works that diverge from their well-known pieces – very interesting! I recommend doing some research beforehand or renting a guide to enhance your experience and gain deeper insights!

Weekdays can be quite crowded. The crowds tend to thin out after 4 PM. We recommend taking a guided tour at scheduled times, along with renting a personal audio guide. Half a day should be enough time to see the exhibition.

A rare masterpiece visiting Taiwan, it's a shame to miss it. The newly renovated second exhibition hall is very spacious. It wasn't crowded when I went on a weekday, which made for a great experience.
