What to expect
○ Group Session (8:30 AM–2:30 PM)
① Meet at 8:30 AM Meet your English guide at Shin-Hakushima Station and travel to the arena. Details are sent 2 days before.
② Enter around 9:00 AM Don’t miss this one-day-only Hiroshima tour. Discover a closer side of sumo than at a regular tournament. Watch open practice, see wrestlers moving nearby, and perhaps take photos, request autographs or greet them.
③ Watch from Row 1 Enjoy opening drums, children’s sumo, lower-division bouts, comic shokkiri, sumo songs, ring entrances and thrilling final matches, all with English guidance.
Row 1 is in the first-floor chair section on the mukojomen side, not tamari or ringside. Other seats are closer to the dohyo.
④ End around 2:30 PM The tour ends at the venue. The program and interactions may change.
