What to expect
Departing from Taichung in the early morning, the first stop will be a brief stay in Cingjing, where you can experience the fresh mountain air and enjoy views of the grassland scenery. Next, we will head to Wuling on Hehuan Mountain, the highest point on Taiwan's highways. If the weather is good, you can see magnificent mountain scenery, making it a perfect place for taking memorable photos. Lunch will be in Lishan, where you can enjoy a local-style meal to recharge your energy before heading to Fushoushan Farm's Thousand Sakura Garden. The cherry blossoms here are as beautiful as a fairy tale world, and you can spend the entire afternoon immersed in the romantic sea of flowers, taking photos and relaxing. In the afternoon, we will also visit 3158 H2 Cafe to enjoy a cup of coffee and admire the charming scenery surrounded by high mountain clouds and mist. Finally, we will return to Taichung, concluding a pleasant day.

Even though the guide, Mr. Zhan Jie Hua, is Chinese-speaking, he did his best to communicate and made it easier for me to enjoy the trip.
I traveled to Taichung alone and wanted to see the cherry blossoms, so I chose this carpooling group. The driver confirmed the pick-up time and location the night before, and was very punctual. The car was very comfortable. Although my driver didn't talk much, another driver in the team kept introducing the attractions, and the cherry blossoms were indeed very lush, so the overall experience was very good.
The cherry blossoms at Fushoushan Farm are so beautiful! It's really worth coming here to admire them and take photos. However, the drive is very far, requiring >8 hours round trip, so be mentally prepared. There's also a chance of getting carsick.
Although the weather wasn't great and it rained, seeing the cherry blossoms in full bloom was incredibly beautiful and worth the ticket price. Thank you to the hardworking driver for safely getting us to our destination on the winding mountain roads.
