Our tour guide Borey was awesome, great with explaining the history, guide us to the photogenic spots, taught us the poses and took great photos for us. It was a memorable trip and we enjoyed ourselves greatly. Thanks to our driver for driving us to costume shop and Angkor Wat, and also waiting for us patiently with refreshments.
My friend and I had a very nice day. We were contacted and picked up at the hotel as agreed. Our tour guide spoke very good English and explained everything to us. At the beginning it was a bit chaotic until we could put on the traditional clothes, because we went to several shops. Make-up, clothing and jewelry are included in the price - hairstyle unfortunately not. He also took photos of us, so we didn't need an extra photographer, but a camera or cell phone is required, but everyone usually has that. We would definitely recommend Karona and the driver.
Ben (https://guide.myproguide.com/guide/profile/8da269e1-cee0-41f1-a319-e84039857ade_Yen%20_Yat%20) was an awesome tour guide for our group of 11! This was a huge family trip with 6 adults ranging in age 40 to 75 and 5 children ranging in age 2 to 10. So, three different generations in one trip! As we had so many children whose attention and energy spans were limited, patience and understanding that we had to sort of follow their energy lead was key. We chose beautiful clothes for our photo shoot, which was a short walk away from the temple grounds, and were able to fit in shoots at three different locations on the Angkor Wat temple grounds before our kids were done. Although we couldn't go past the huge pond in front of the inner temple walls (no fault of the tour, it was due to our grumpy and hungry kids lol), we had a lot of fun with Ben, who was great with our children, friendly, helpful, accommodating, and fully bilingual in English and Khmer. We highly recommend this service!
highly recommended. lovely tour, lovely traditional dress, and easy transportation. on time and early. My kids love everything. thanks you for the cold drinks after the Angkor Wat tour and traditional dress.
our tour guide Ron was excellent. taking photos at Angkor wat in Khmer dress was a fantastic way to experience the venue.
