Jiufen In-depth Half-Day Tour (Optional morning/afternoon departure / Taipei Main Station meeting point)

It was fun even if the weather was rainy. Jaron Lee or Jia-Ron Li was our guide and he was very passionate of his job. He spoke very well Japanese and English as he attended to all of us. He explained a lot about the place going to the area and we were advised to get a raincoat if we wanted additional protection from the rain, which were also available all around Jiufen. Jiufen was a lovely place, it was rainy but the vibes was there, we enjoyed the many shops, view, dinner and we safely headed back to Taipe Main Station/Raohe Night Market. Feichang Ganxie Jaron! He took good care of us and was very helpful of inquiries! God bless and take care! :)

I highly recommend this tour for those who want to explore Jiufen at your own pace. Our tour guide Chen was so kind and thoughtful. She gave us a map she drew and explained the major sights and shops in three languages. She took the time to take care of everyone and answer their questions. We arrived around 4:30pm and had to return to the bus by 7:10pm giving us 2.5 hours to pick and choose what we wanted to do. Since it was my second time at Jiufen, I walked around a bit, bought some souvenirs and ate taro balls dessert. I was the only one in my group who wanted to go to Amei Teahouse. I went to get in line around 5:45pm and waited 15 mins for a great seat right next to the view of the sunset. I recommend that you get in line by 6pm if you don’t have a group reservation. The teahouse staff confirmed with me that I was with the tour group led by Chen from ST World. I got the basic set that came with oolong tea and snacks.

A short but interesting trip to Jiufen. It was quite touristy (probably because it was a holiday), but still a nice experience overall. Big shoutout to our guide, Ms. Coco, she did an amazing job and was super nice. She really made the trip better.

We were two college students who joined the tour during summer vacation! The bus tour guide was very kind and made a handmade map, recommending and guiding us to great spots! Jiufen's roads were surprisingly complex and crowded, so I think we definitely would have gotten lost if we had gone on our own. We followed the recommendations for photo spots and delicious food, and it created amazing memories! Thank you so much!! I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to express my gratitude. If you're going to Jiufen, definitely give this tour a try!!

Barbie was very kind and accommodating. It was mostly Japanese tourists in our group, but she was able to communicate with all of us in EN/JP at the same time, which was super cool. She also let us go on our own around the town with the help of the map she made. Besides tasting the unique Jiufen snacks, we got ourselves some ginger tea and special custom surname calligraphy souvenirs. Please take note of how crowded the place can be, but adjust yourselves accordingly and let it not ruin your trip. Thank you for the tour, Barbie! My husband and I enjoyed the entire visit to a damp misty Jiufen.

First time Visit to Taiwan, JiuFen. Also the first time using Klook to book for a tour. The meeting point is clear and at a convenient location. Our Klook Guide, Miss Chen from ST World Taiwan is very friendly and had given us alot of useful information and highlight of various area to lookout for a photoshoot during the bus trip to JiuFen. It was a very pleasant overall experience.

I had such a wonderful experience on the Jiufen tour, and a big part of it was because of our amazing tour guide, Franny! She was so friendly, bubbly, and helpful throughout the whole trip. She shared interesting information about Jiufen and made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the experience. As a solo traveler, I really appreciated how welcoming and accommodating she was. we did the half day morning departure from Taipei Main Station at 9:30am and return at 2:30pm. we got to Jiufen about 10:30am. on the way there, our guide, Chen gave out maps and shows us where to eat, photo spots. She was very friendly and helpful. We have about 2.5 hours to explore, shop, and eat. Wish we could stay longer, but we have an evening flight flying back to the States. Next time, we would do the night tour. Great experience.

Excellent tour. I highly recommend the afternoon tour where you can see the views during the day and lanterns at night. Chen did great explaining the area and provided a very helpful map for navigating the area.

This half day tour was wonderful! Chen, our tour guide, drew a map to help us reach as many places within Jiufen as possible and introduced us to different attractions while helping us take beautiful pictures. Thanks to her, she helped us understand Jiufen’s history of Tea! We have made beautiful memories that we will forever cherish. I highly recommend taking this tour as it was the highlight of our time in Taiwan. Will definitely be returning! Thank you Chen!!!
