Booking guidelines
- This pass is for non-Liechtenstein / Switzerland residents only. You must currently be staying in a different country for 6+ months and provide proof of residence (visa/residence card) and proof of citizenship (passport)
- If you’ve lived in Country A for over 6 months but hold a passport from Country B, you can:
- 1.) Select Country A as your residence at checkout and present both your passport and proof of residence on the train, or
- 2.) Select Country B as your residence and present only your passport on the train
- Enter accurate information, changes to your booking are not allowed after confirmation (e.g., activation date, ticket type, traveler info)
Pass eligibility
- Free for children aged 0-5 as long as they will not occupy separate seats
- If the child is under age of 6, you do not need to enter them as a passenger. They can travel free of charge and do not need a Swiss Family Card
- Children from the age of 6 up to their 16th birthday travel free of charge when accompanied by at least one parent holding a valid Swiss Travel System product
- Child ticket must be purchased with adult ticket, it can not be purchased separately
- Children from the age of 6 up to their 16th birthday but not accompanied by at least one parent, receive a 50% discount on the gross rate of Swiss Travel Pass and Swiss Travel Pass Flex
