A decent sized aquarium and that is enough to keep the kids entertained. You can even touch the star fish. Can't say there is wide variety of ocean animals, but if you are looking for place to kill some time then this is the place for you. We spent around 2 to 3 hours here. My kids liked the VR ride, but that came with addiotional charge. Recommended to visit here in the morning then you can consider visiting legoland discovery centre which is just nearby within walking distance.

on Saturday afternoon, place isn't crowded and family can enjoy the exhibits, staff are friendly and accommodating. overall good. although I didnt realise I was booking wrong aquarium in Shanghai in klook, I had searched shanghai aquarium in klook and this option came up but this was not the right attraction. Klook should be more clear. this one was located far away from downtown shanghai but it has a metro station at doorstep. we took didi for convenience w small kids. all in all still pleasant experience.

We went there on a weekday, so there were basically no tourists in the aquarium, so we could slowly watch the marine life and take photos. There are also many kinds of marine life, and there are also penguins. Manta Bay is relatively suitable for children and has a children's playroom. After the visit, you can stroll around Changfeng Park, which is a beautiful place with lots of cats and a cuckoo exhibition. Suitable for families with young children.

I agree with the reviews that say it's better than the COEX Aquarium in Seoul, haha. If you buy a family ticket on Klook, you need to mention it at the ticket counter to get paper tickets. My child loved it, and we had fun with the VR activity inside, which cost an additional 30 yuan. The aquarium in the park is great! Across the street, Joy City Mall has a Lego store and a Hanzhou Yiqian lamb skewer restaurant, making it a perfect itinerary.

This local aquarium is located right outside the train station in Shanghai. Don't underestimate it! To be honest, I visited without expecting too much, but the exhibits were on par with mid- to large-sized aquariums in Japan. There weren't any flashy shows, but I thoroughly enjoyed observing the aquatic life. I left my suitcase at the reception desk and they held it for free, but it was stored outdoors rather than in a room or locker, so if you're worried, you should keep it with you.
