the massage was a lil bit soft at the beginning but when I asked the therapist to be less gentle, it was better. I think the price is less expensive if you buy straight at the massage office.

Not terrible per say, but I get massages A LOT (1-2x/month) and this one is more of an average/mediocre experience. The location is VERY easy to find (behind L7 Hotel in Myeongdong across from a KBBQ restaurant and next to Gana Optical) and the main receptionist is fluent enough in English to chit chat and provide instructions if you’re worried about potential language barriers. I took off 1 star as they were delayed by 20 minutes, which is fine if you aren’t rushing off anywhere afterwards, but could be an issue if you have reservations. They were kind enough to give me a complimentary “service” as an apology. Accessibility is good, you have an elevator taking you up and the front entrance is a slope vs a step. Atmosphere is also good (very cozy with floral and anime which made me laugh). The actual massage I had was bordering on painful/poking, but that’s due to technique more than my pain tolerance in my opinion LOL (I usually enjoy sports massages so I know/enjoy “pain” but my massage felt like someone using fingers to poke me sometimes vs rolling out my muscles). Took off another star as I didn’t like the talking during my treatment. The massage took place in a shared room with other people, which is fine as I’ve had that experience before, but the staff talked to eachother the whole time, which is distracting and not as relaxing as you might expect from a massage. I’m not requesting absolutely silence as asking for tools/materials when you need it is important, but it wasn’t that type of talking so it was distracting.
