Good

For business

The place needs a bit of TLC, with most toilet and bathroom handles loose. Bear in mind that the place is up a flight of narrow stairs, then a curling staircase to get to the first floor, and a steep staircase to the bedroom loft. I couldn’t get the oven to work unfortunately, so it would have been good to have the user manual. Other than that, it was clean and convenient.

Stayed with partner

The location of the property is great for Knightsbridge and Kensington tube station. There’s a pub close by but had called last orders at 10:30 on a Tuesday night. The communication and the instructions about check in/out with the host was great and can’t be faulted, however the accommodation was less desirable - scruffy in places, the plinth not secured in the kitchen, windows that don’t stay open (hence 3 fans in the bedroom), uncomfortable bed that creaks and bounces every time you move, one ‘old’ pillow each, very small shower room, but to be fair very clean linen and towels.
