This is a great apartment. The AC struggled in the heat wave but the host came and brought us a portable one to help.

The apartment was small but cozy and comfortably accommodated our family of four. The location was excellent, surrounded by classic London charm and just steps away from great restaurants. There was also a Whole Foods Market about a seven-minute walk from the apartment, which made picking up groceries very convenient. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly recommend this apartment to family and friends.

BEWARE! This property is falsely advertised, is in disrepair, and it is FILTHY! There are two basement units that are included with their listing. The "virtual front desk" is a joke- they say they will check on things and never respond. We called and texted ahead of time and still had to call again to have someone come let us in. Our unit was full of bugs due to the "city view" that was the garbage cans. There were flies, mosquitoes, and gnats from the moment we walked into the apt. We called immediately about this and requested to be moved. They said they could only send cleaners (no one came to clean). The air conditioning wasn't working and it took two full days for someone to come check it- after calling/texting on the app multiple times. The pullout mattress was full of hair and other debris. The apartment left a mildew/musty smell on all of our clothes. The washer/dryer didn't work. The fridge/freezer combo is just a fridge and barely kept our groceries cool. We asked to be moved to another unit and they said they didn't have any, even though hotels.com and Expedia showed availability. We also found other reviews of these basement units (buried) where they claim they will fix these items for the next person and they just disconnect them/ignore the disrepair. If I could give this property negative stars, I would. For the price we paid to be stuck in unsanitary conditions with ZERO effort from the property to make it right is just Unacceptable! We should be refunded.

Great
The room was clean and spacious enough for a short trip. I did appreciate having a washer and dryer (one unit) in the room. There aren't any cleaning services or garbage removal unless requested, but it's an extra charge, so the bin was overflowing by the end of our trip. But the location is great, the building is clean and the shopping convenient. There is a whole foods for groceries, lots of restaurants and tons of shopping. Worth the price.

Great location. Enough space for our family of five to spread out. Listing stated a king bed which was actually a queen. Washer/dryer combo in listing but dryer was broken. Repairman came but didn’t fix issue. Repair caused a circuit to blow. Hard to get in touch with host.

Fantastic

The location was excellent! The Underground station was only about a 7-minute walk away, making it easy to get anywhere in London. Kensington Palace and Hyde Park were just around the corner, which was perfect for walks and especially great if you’re traveling with kids. There was also a Whole Foods nearby for groceries, and plenty of pubs and restaurants right outside the door. The apartment itself was a good size and had everything we needed, but it could have been cleaner. Some of the dishes were still dirty, the shower needed a better clean, and the mattress on the sofa bed had some stains. The sofa bed itself could definitely use an upgrade, as it wasn’t very comfortable. On the positive side, communication with the staff was easy, and the check-in process was simple and hassle-free. Overall, the fantastic location was the biggest highlight and made up for many of the shortcomings.

There is no one at the property, you have to call in advance which we couldn’t as we had issues with our cell service. The code the host gave us via app was incorrect to access the property so we had to wait for someone to show up. The police guarding the adjacent Iranian Embassy was extremely helpful they lended us a phone to call for help and even a chair for the wife. We picked this property because it had AC and a Washer/Dryer. The AC did not work and there was no help or response. The washer/Dryer machine did not dry, we had to use a clothes rack which they did have. Location is really good as there is a tube station 3 blocks away and bus stop a block away. Area is great, but will not recommend the property based on the issues we had and the lack of help or response.

Good

Stayed with partner

Location was ideal with lots of restaurants, underground station and tourist spots. Apartment was spacious, washing machine was very handy. Unfortunately the safe did not work as master key was missing to reset it from the previous stay so we were unable to use it and this was never rectified during our stay. Communication was only via message, never anyone on-site to have a conversation with. City view as promised on the listing for this apartment type was impossible from the basement level. Blinds were broken and when we looked out the only view was of the rubbish bins and the daily rubbish collected. No city view insight. Bedding average also and our bedroom had a door which exited to the main air conditioning units for the building, which was noisy day and night. Definitely not worth the money that we paid. Not the high street apartments as promised.

Very clean, great location, quiet neighbourhood. We’ve only had a small issue with the assistant who sped through the checkin without giving us proper information and wasn’t friendly. But, this is a mikor thing because we enjoyed the stay. Sam and James were awesome to speak to via the Hotels.com chat.
