BEWARE. We knew we could not have access to our room before the check in time of 2pm, which was fine. But when we arrived early and asked them to hold our bags, we were told there was a '£10 PER BAG' charge for them to hold our luggage.

It was a basic hotel room experience. In a very busy section with no view. But it was clean and convenient. Unfortunately, we arrived on a night when one of the key features, The bar on the roof, was closed for a private event. Which is moderately annoying as a pick hotel based on some of the amenities and then you arrive in the amenities aren’t available. With no apparent forewarning. Fortunately, we weren’t primarily staying at that location for that experience, otherwise I would’ve been more miffed.

Staff at front desk not helpful with my early arrival, refused to get me in even a moment before check in time after an over night flight, with little conversation. Housekeeping knocked almost every morning of my 7 night stay at 8:30-9 in the morning. Restaurant staff friendly but a bit slow. Room was nice but quite small even in the deluxe room. Location is the saving grace, and the view from the roof. Oh and front desk told me multiple times breakfast was included but restaurant charged me each morning.

Rooms very small, to get to the beds you have to contend with the tv on one side ( which didn’t work) and the curtains on the other, were not big in any way, the room was just extremely small, only a queen bed, which in my opinion isn’t big enough for 2 adults. Bathroom was nice, except the tap was to close to the sink which meant you couldn’t fill the kettle, did that one small glass at a time.

For business

Although a separate business, the manager (I think) of the rooftop bar was delightful and we watched The Blimp flying over London from there. We are regulars and we would normally give the hotel 4 or 5 stars. Only once were we disappointed (May 2026) and they appear to have done enough to regain our trust so we will come back soon - it makes a great base for our frequent stays in London. Give it a try for yourself. We have had wonderful times here on the 7th floor on NYE but sadly in last year and next, these rooms are sold out before they even appear.

Room felt dirty and grimey. Not as nice as photos. Rooftop bar was closed for a private event so we were not able to use for a drink. For the amount we paid it was not worth it. We were able to go to the rooftop for breakfast which was good. Staff not super helpful when we asked questions.

Solo stay

Room on first floor directly above trashy street level smoke shop and tourist shops impossible to sleep as loud beat from all-night music - even at 4:30am. Hotel said they had no control over it and surely knew they were giving me a horrible room. Did not sleep at all first two nights until moved to 5th floor where I had no A/C first night. One of two elevators out of service entire 5 days and remaining elevator crazy slow. Only redeeming feature: the breakfast on Floor 9. Do not recommend.

Reception staff were lovely. Restaurant staff were u helpful & uninterested. One one lift working for two of the days we were staying, pretty rubbish for a hotel with rooms on 8 floors. TV didn't work properly and most of the channels on offer were scrambled. After several visits from hotel maintenance we were told system would need a reboot, but it couldn't be done same day as IT department had gone home. Needless no-one turned the following day either. Normally really like Indigo hotels, but this one was a real disappointment
