This hotel is so retro it brings back nostalgic aspects of the 60s and 70s where rooms were equipped with built in radios. It is such a pity it is closing down soon. I had pleasant stay here on my trip to Osaka.

great experience especially since I come from a tropical country. the only thing is, we asked for English speaking tour guide, but the Japanese guy was not very well versed in English. they had us combined with a mandarin speaking group and it is very evident that we were shortchanged with the narratives. the mandarin speaking lady was saying so many things, and when the Japanese guy turn to speak comes, he explains about one-tenth of the length of what the mandarin speaking lady says. but overall, still ok

great hotel! great location, its right above osaka station (the basement leads you to the red line directly), and the size of the room!! its a really big room suitable for luggages too, you just gotta shift a bit around and its done. the room was really big considering its Japan, would definitely stay again but the hotel's closing in Jan 2025, as per other reviews too.
