My wife and I found this hotel to be a budget-friendly option, though it did come with significant challenges. The property was undergoing extensive renovations during our visit, with unfinished walls and paintwork throughout the hallways and guest rooms. The logistics were difficult; the elevator was out of service for 9 days of our 15-day stay. Initially, we were placed on the 6th floor but had to move to the 5th shortly after arrival due to scheduled construction. Unfortunately, our second room had a leaking toilet, necessitating a third move. We also found the room lighting quite harsh without the option of lamps, and the downstairs cafe was limited to drinks only. On a positive note, the location is excellent for shopping and dining. The staff were very helpful and the resident cats were a charming addition. While the team was great, the physical demand of climbing 5 or 6 flights of stairs daily was excessive. We ultimately chose to check out five days early once our permanent housing was ready. If you are on a strict budget and don't mind construction hurdles, this might work, but we would likely look elsewhere next time.

This was a 2 week stay for me. I probably spent about $19 a night. The room was very nice and spacious with a small fridge included. AC works perfectly. The cafe on the ground level is very nice, with a large coffee menu, and a smaller food menu. (My fiance was the one drinking the coffee/lattes, and she approves!) Only had a few items from the menu, and they were tasty and cheap. The location offers a direct route over the ping River to the other various markets and riverside restaurant/cafes. Just around the corner, you can hit route 11 and that would pretty much take you directly to Maya Mall, Central festival mall. I would highly recommend staying here, and I will probably stay here again in the future.

The man at the front desk was amazing and super nice. The rooms aren't horrible and the bathrooms were not the best but you do get what you pay for and I've definitely scene worse.

Great location for the bus station. We were returning from Pai and heading on to Chang Rai and so needed one night in Chang Mai. This hotel was perfect for that. Clean and modern, with air con and free breakfast. Relatively basic but all you need for a night.

The Central Festival (large, modern shopping mall with lots of food options) is a 15-minute walk. Otherwise, you'll need to take local transportation to pretty much anywhere.

Staff were brilliant from the start, they let us check in at 10 am. Booked taxi for us when we needed them to. On our last day we checked out at 8 am as we were going out for the full day the staff looked after our bags until we got back at 5 pm. The only problem with the hotel was the breakfast they only had toast.

The location of the hotel was very convenient for my purpose of stay in Chiang Mai. The building is old but clean. The simple breakfast was provided which I really appreciated. The best thing about this hotel was the friendly and helpful staff:)
