I recently completed a 4-night stay at MIMARU Tokyo Ueno. The room was exceptionally tidy, and the excellent kitchen utensils allowed me to easily prepare breakfast each morning. Location-wise, a 24-hour supermarket is just a 5-minute walk away, and while the nearest station gate is about an 8-minute walk, it remains highly convenient. My only minor critique is that the window shades do not provide 100% coverage; light leaks in from outside, which caused me to wake up a bit early. Overall, though, it’s a very comfortable and convenient place to stay!

the hotel is conveniently walking distance to JR ueno station that is a plus plus already. it is ideal for family and for someone who wants more space for their vacation in tokyo. the staffs are excellent english speakers, professionals, and always willing to help you for any questions or informations you need. i love that they have their own luggage system delivery so it was perfect to transfer our luggage back and forth from tokyo and osaka. i also love that they have cleaning schedule and our room is always organized and clean, of course you can opt out for a day or two cleaning. there’s at least 3 walking convenience stores located 7/11, lawson and family mart and a few grocery stores. also the place is less touristy and more locals.
