Taisho Yufunohana

We had a pleasant one-night stay at Taisho Yufunohana. The highlight was the beautiful public open-air onsen, which rotates daily to allow guests to experience two different scenic baths. Guests should note that rooms only contain a toilet, meaning all bathing must be done in the public onsen area (a short outdoor walk away), and a Yukata rental costs ¥200. Check-in is handled efficiently via an iPad translator at a separate container office across the street. While the hotel offers great amenities in the common area (coffee, microwave, etc.), you must walk to the container office for any assistance, as there is no attendant on the room side. Overall, it's a good choice for those prioritizing an excellent open-air onsen experience.
