This hotel is in a very good location and convenient to a subway station (railway station too). We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was very good. We are going to stay here again.

Great location in walking distance to the Tate Modern, Globe theater, National Theater and great restaurants near by. About 7 minute walk to the Southwark subway station too. Very helpful, friendly staff as well and great rooms with AC which was helpful for the heatwave we experienced while there!

We stayed for 2 nights and had an excellent stay. The room was clean and setup for 4 people before we arrived. The staff was super helpful, including checking us in early and taking some of our refrigerated items to be stored during our stay. The location was convenient and close to the Underground and bus stops. We will stay here again if we come to London in the future!

Started off with only one bath towel for two people. Was given an attitude about asking for more towels on day 2. Wifi was not working the entire time of our 6 night stay. Asked for the room to be cleaned on day 3, it was not cleaned, I can visibly see the room was not vacuumed and no surfaces wiped down. Breakfast was ok. Location was pretty great for walking and public transportation. There were several employees who were very kind. You pay for what you get.

Lovely stay, easy walk to public transportation, but the best thing about it was the staff! Everyone was amazing and helpful and made us feel like we were old friends. Would gladly stay there again!

Location: It was close to so many things that we were interested in (Borough Market, Mac & Sons, etc. and had a Tesco Express close by) and where we could walk to downtown quite easy. :-) But, we walk a lot so are comfortable with that and we are a couple. This may not be the most comfortable location for others (say for a single lady or the elderly) as it was down small streets. (check Google street-view). It felt secure as you had to use room key to even get to where the elevators were and then again in the elevator. Staff was friendly and helpful and were part pf the dining room staff so you had to go there to talk to them but they were always happy to help. Room was clean, and medium-sized (not super-big) but was perfect for us! Bed was comfortable. We loved it.

Great place! Only issue was the toilet didn't work properly.

The staff was very helpful and the room was quite spacious, much less for London. The Tate Modern is two blocks away. Train/subway stations for multiple lines and to Gatwick were within walking distance.

We book a Premier Inn because we know what we are getting. The Southwark Tate Modern hotel was no exception. Absolutely fine.

The hotel was in a great location to see London. There were supermarkets and restaurants next door and across the street. However, the hotel is very tired, room was not very warm, and there was no refrigerator. The carpets needed a good clean and there was no tourist information available, no map of the areas or tours etc.
