Fantastic

Solo stay

Good for a night or two, clean place clean sheets, lovely host all for reasonable price. Great area with many shops and eateries around and transport connections. Just keep a hand on host phone number you'll need it once you arrive to the place. Overall it was well worth a visit.

Booked a double room with photos that didnt look like the room i had booked. The actual room was at a different address than advertised. The person who met me at the address advertised, after i phoned him took me to location of the room that had been allocated to me. He then checked which room i had been allocated and opened it only to find someone else's belongings in the room. That led to checking his sheet and assigning another room. The shower door fell off when i opened it, an hour later the maintenance person one of the wheels back on the track but there was a one inch gap at the top abd noticed when someone then next used it the where the water escaped and they were no floor towels The room itself had a rollerblind didnt have a chain to open it. There was a mirrored wardrobe with a huge crack on the right hand door. Outside the room i was assigned was a sofa, a dining chair, and a stool chair, tucked behind these on the floor a tv that was unplugged. There was shared kitchen with some basic cutlery and plates. At least two of the cupboards were stuffed with extra towels and bedding. The room is essentially a bedroom with a lock in what i would describe as pretty tired student accomodation.

Jon who checked us in was very kind and helpful. The location centre of London was good easy access to rest of city via walking or many different tube and bus stations minutes walk away. One of the cheapest yet very pleasant places to stay in heart of London. Would stay again .

Staff friendly and helpful, but the accommodation itself was very poor. Room barely big enough to stand in, the bed was decrepit and squeaking at any small movement. Only a sheet at the base of the bed - no mattress protector so trying not to think about that. It was a shared room property, but I returned on night 2, to the front door wedged open, so anyone could have wandered in. Individual room lockable, but a light thump would have opened the door. Think the price represents the quality. Would not recommend unless price is your only driver.

The room was clean, the flat it was in was not clean. It's a good spot to get your head down if you're working late up town, don't bring your Mrs here, she won't like it.

The gentleman who met me to check me in was absolutely lovely, professional, and very helpful. None of my comments reflect on him at all. However, the room itself raises serious questions about whether it meets basic letting standards and whether it is genuinely suitable or compliant for guest accommodation. The room was extremely small, and the bed sheets did not fit the mattress properly. They came away immediately when I lay down, leaving the mattress—already visibly dirty—completely exposed. This is a hygiene issue and falls well below what would normally be expected in any property being let out. There were several unfinished areas in the room, and the door did not feel secure, which is concerning even for me as a male traveller. The trailing wires from the TV created a clear trip hazard, and I actually caught my foot on them. Issues like these would normally fail very basic safety expectations for lettings. The shared bathroom had only one floor mat, which was just a towel. Once someone used the shower, it remained wet for the next person—again not meeting reasonable standards for shared facilities. The kitchenette was very basic, and I chose not to use it. In the corridor, there was unused furniture left stacked, which was not only unsightly but also a potential fire hazard, and I would question whether a setup like this aligns with fire safety guidance for properties being let to guests. Overall, the property is cheap for a reason.

Great
Very convenient central location, if you just need basic accommodation, this is great and reflects the affordable price.
