Paulo is very humorous and talkative, and his descriptions of the scenery along the way are detailed. The jeep off-roading is quite exciting, and the PR11 route is easy to experience. Several viewpoints are magnificent, and this trip is highly recommended.

The best tour guide we ever had! Sam and Paulo were very informative, organized, and passionate about sharing local culture and history. They ensured everyone had a wonderful time. A truly memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Had a really great time on the tour yesterday and thought it was an incredible value for covering as many sights as it did in day. I also want to especially shout out the freshly arrived from the UK guide we had, Miguel Pereira who was really funny, informative, kind and helpful the entire time. My only suggestions would be that on the way up to the Forest, there's a great little viewpoint overlooking the valley that we all wished we stopped at. Also, I think trimming a little time of other parts of things, or better yet, a slightly longer tour would've been incredible to allow for relaxation time at the black sand beach and the two volcanic pools/lunch. Maybe adding an extra hour? Overall, really great experience and Miguel was the best. Super recommend PF and recommending them to my friends coming in September! 5/5
