Things to do in Suzhou

It was a full bus load of tourists and everywhere we went, it was crowded. but the guide, Chen Lei, did very well to make sure that nobody went missing as we walk the streets, cross the roads and weave through the multitudes of people. There was an additional fee of CNY110 per person. 40 for lunch at a buffet restaurant that is basically like hunger games - hundreds of people crowding to get food. 10 for the earpiece to listen to the guide - this is useful. 60 for the boat ride and a short Suzhou music performance.

It was a great experience and many beautiful places were shown. As I am not able to speak chinese I could not fully understand the historical explanations, but the guide (and the translator) helped me a lot to experience it!

Absolutely amazing experience. Our guide Levi did a great job showing us around and educating us on the historical significance of Suzhou and even stories about Shanghai. He gave us a reason to truly fall in love with the city and see its beauty. The comfortability of the travel and tour all make this well worth it. Very satisfied with my decision to do this for my mom. Thank you so much Levi ~~

not bad - had a good overview of this old town. took a boat ride to the old town (not within). visited the mansion of a rich historical merchant. watched a nice theatre performance. had dinner at the guide-recommended restaurant and bought a painting at an -induced calligraphy shop. had short time for personal shopping within old town.

We went on an impromptu trip to Shang Hai and purchased the 5D4N package and was very impressed with the price, and service. Our tour guide, Xiao Tang, was very professional, diligent and caring throughout the trip. I find her a very sincere person and easy to talk to. She was also very knowledgeable sharing the history of all the places we went to. Thanks to her that the entire trip was so comfortable for us. Thanks Xiao Tang, kudos! ❤️❤️

I was so impressed with the knowledge of the guide, she was very patient, friendly and share with us the story of every corners of the garden.

The atmosphere was great, and the staff were very enthusiastic. Since I purchased an evening slot, I felt the value for money was slightly lower, as most of the time was spent sleeping. However, the rest area was crowded, with people constantly coming and going, making it not ideal for sleeping. The food and drinks were decent, but it's not really possible to keep eating and drinking in the middle of the night. I'd recommend buying a 5-6 hour daytime slot instead.

We thought it would just be walking around stone formations, but the rest of the garden blew our minds! The central pond with its pavilions and bridges was such a beautiful sight. It gets busy with tourists, but still totally worth the visit.

I’m wearing Hijab, but they still manage to make me pretty. The photographer also very fast & good! Just walk using Amap to find their shop at Pinjiang Road😊
