Things to do in The Pinnacles Desert

itinerary: 10/10 — enjoyed it up until the very end. everything was clearly briefed and timing was well kept. • attractions on the way: 9/10— visited a number of beautiful beaches, it would’ve been perfect if there were some engaging activities in between on our way to the Pinnacles. nevertheless, views were breathtaking and enjoyable! • group size: 9/10 — there were roughly 26 people during the tour, it was an ideal group size for me, though we did have to squeeze in between our seats • guide: 10/10 — our guide was hardworking, friendly and sweet! she kept the energy consistent and was also inclusive in terms of providing vegetarian / halal meals for muslim tourists! also shared alot of her knowledge on the beaches and deserts we visited!

The team was wonderfully punctual, arriving at our hotel 10 minutes ahead of the scheduled time to ensure a stress-free start. The crew was professional and experienced. They even shared brilliant photography tips on how to capture stunning photos of the night sky and stars. The location offered truly awesome views that made the entire experience magical. Gliding down the dunes with sandboarding was an absolute blast and a huge highlight of the trip. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-organized, fun, and memorable adventure!

Annelise is a wonderful tour guide who made our experience truly memorable. She is highly professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire tour. She shared interesting and informative stories about the places we visited and explained the history, culture, and natural beauty of the area in a way that was easy to appreciate. Our trip to the Pinnacles, north of Perth, was especially enjoyable because of her excellent guidance. She made sure we were comfortable, well-informed, and able to fully enjoy the experience. Her passion for her work and her knowledge of the destination really stood out.

At Yanchep National Park, we were able to see koalas and kangaroos up close as they moved about. Although it rained heavily the day before and the day after, we had a wonderful time on this particular day, even seeing the stars clearly!

We joined this local tour as a family of three and had a fantastic experience. The whole trip was very well organised and ran smoothly from start to finish. We visited the wildlife park and had the chance to feed the animals without needing to queue, which made the experience very relaxed and enjoyable. Lunch was fish and chips, which was nice, but we strongly recommend upgrading to the lobster as it was very fresh and definitely worth it. We also visited the desert, enjoyed an exciting off-road desert vehicle ride, and tried sandboarding. Everything was arranged very well, and the activities were fun and smooth. Overall, our family had a wonderful time. The tour was eye-opening, memorable, and gave us a great chance to experience the local scenery and activities. It was excellent value for money, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Highly recommended for this small group tour, especially our guide Kenny. He planned everything very well and helped us take great photos by avoiding peak times and crowds. He is like a professional videographer and cameraman, capturing memorable videos when we didn’t even realize it. He also made sure we had enough rest time between each attraction, which made the whole experience very comfortable and enjoyable.

Our tour guide was very caring and attentive. The itinerary for this tour was incredibly rich. Since the Pink Lake is more beautiful in the morning, the guide thoughtfully arranged for us to visit it on the morning of the second day. They also helped us with free drone photography, which was extremely considerate. The only slight downside was that breakfast was not included at the hotel. The guide also proactively helped us take photos, and all the tour members spoke Chinese, which made for a very friendly atmosphere.

All the key activities met our expectations. On the first day, we checked in at Window of the World and pretended to be Tom Cruise. On the second day, we visited the Pink Lake, which was indeed very pink under the clear sky. On the third day, each of us ate one and a half lobsters, totaling one lobster per person. Both nights' accommodations were excellent, especially the second night, where each group had a whole house, which was very spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we even bought groceries from the supermarket to cook dinner. Our driver and guide, Leo, became more attentive each day, providing clear explanations and useful travel tips for Perth. Highly recommended!
