Hotels near 85 Sky Tower

Pros: Excellent location, underground parking available, friendly staff, and a very rich breakfast and late-night snack. Cons: Poor soundproofing, bed is too wobbly.

The prices are great, and they offer welcome snacks like nachos and ice cream. Afternoon tea includes cookies, which is very convenient for families with children. There's also a self-service laundry and a water dispenser. Although the room is small, it's well-equipped, and a back door was added to reduce noise. Breakfast is delicious and offers a wide variety. It's a great value for the price!

Hotel Location: Near Kaohsiung Main Station! Transportation Convenience: Easily accessible! Service: The tables in the lobby lounge area have several outlets, which is thoughtful for guests to charge their phones! Breakfast: I heard it was good, but we woke up too late and missed it! Cleanliness: Good! However, the hallway had a damp, musty smell! The room was a bit small, and the air conditioning was extremely cold! When using the bathroom sink, the drain made a rather loud noise!

I personally feel that the location is close to Qianjin MRT Station. There's Liuhe Night Market nearby, a Dawangong shaved ice shop across the street, a bank across the street, and a FamilyMart convenience store nearby. If you need to buy anything, there's also a Xiaobei Department Store nearby. The rooms are clean and bright. Breakfast is not provided, as there's the famous Xinglongju breakfast shop nearby. There are restrooms in the basement, as well as coin-operated washers and dryers. There's a multi-function coffee machine offering Americano, latte, chocolate, cappuccino, etc., and tea bags are also provided. Each floor has a water dispenser. The hairdryer is very powerful, not the traditional wall-mounted type, which is great. 👍🍀

During this stay at Kindness Hotel Weiwuying, both the room and bathroom were kept very clean, and the accommodation environment was comfortable. The 24-hour ice cream service was also a great bonus. The downside was that the entire building felt a bit dated, and the room doors didn't feel very secure. While the breakfast menu changed daily, offering some variety, the overall selection was quite limited, with a lot of mushroom dishes. This meant fewer options for guests with allergies or dietary restrictions. Overall, the cleanliness and the 24-hour ice cream service were excellent. However, if the breakfast variety could be improved and the room door security enhanced, the stay would be even better.

Easy access to airport red line. The room was clean. The staff can speak basic english which is a plus as I do not speak mandarin. They also upgraded our room probably because I was staying during my birthday week. Buffet breakfast was good. They also offer free snacks (ice cream, cookies, jelly). They have buffet night snacks which could serve as your dinner though the course is almost the same daily. It was also nice that you can use the washing machine and dryer for free.

The overall experience was excellent. I'll definitely be back, and the "Emperor Hotel" in Kaohsiung will always be my top choice. Even though I only spent a short day in Kaohsiung, my stay was delightful. The service attitude, breakfast, and surrounding environment all far exceeded my expectations. Dear friends, this was my first time visiting Kaohsiung, but please allow me to recommend this hotel to you. I'm Yuanyuan from Taipei. I also recommend checking out the souvenirs available at the hotel's entrance. I bought a "Wisdom" stone as a memento and colored it when I got home. I hope you'll also enjoy this place and fall in love with Kaohsiung. Photo 1: Hotel exterior. Photo 2: Room type. Photo 3: Dining environment. Photo 4: Buffet breakfast. We rarely visit Kaohsiung, so when we planned a two-week trip, we finally decided to stay here. We stayed for three consecutive nights and would truly, truly recommend it. Although the room we stayed in this time faced the street, we honestly couldn't hear much of the traffic outside. The bathroom is also very spacious, and the water flow and pressure were just right, though the hairdryer's airflow was a bit weak. Aside from that, there is really nothing to fault in any other aspect. The guesthouse is located in a spot where it's not far to get anywhere. This trip left both my partner and me feeling completely satisfied.
