Fantastic 5.0
what a fun experience! there are 4 different starting points altogether. my partner and i chose our starting point from Rijksmuseum and ending point ends there too. (different starting point has slightly different route, so you might want to study the map a little before deciding which to go for). *do note that you will have to choose your preferred start time when you do the booking online. we arrived 15 mins earlier than our booking and since there was available boat, the female crew asked if we would like to start earlier. her instructions was also clear and precise. there's a time limit of 1 hour, depending on how fast you pedal. we took 45 mins in total. the weather that day was perfect too (15-17°C/59-62°F).

The hotel is located in a very convenient location, about 3-5 minutes' walk from Sloterdijk station. There are trains, buses and trams at the transfer station, which makes it very convenient and quick to get to the city. The rooms are not big, but the equipment provided is far more than you can imagine. In addition to cutlery, knives and pots, there are even induction cookers and microwave ovens. The counter will provide dishwashing liquid/sponge/rags and other utensils when you check in, which is a very convenient place for long-term guests.

Fantastic 5.0
I had a great stay at the WestCord Hotel. One of the best things about this hotel is its strategic location — it's perfect for travelers who want a quiet area but still need quick access to the city center. The Zaanstraat bus stop is just a 2-minute walk away, and from there, Bus 22 takes you straight to Amsterdam Central Station in just about 10–15 minutes. Super convenient! The neighborhood is peaceful, and I appreciated being slightly outside the crowded tourist areas while still being well-connected. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and modern, with friendly staff and good amenities. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-located and accessible place to stay in Amsterdam!

Transportation: Not far from the light rail, about a 5-10 minute walk. There's also an ah nearby where you can buy food to take back. Cleanliness: Very clean and bright, especially the corner rooms with great views and bathtubs.

Fantastic 5.0
We visited the 3 places and feel that there was not enough time given to Zaanse Schans. There was a presentation at each of the locations but due to photo opportunities at Zaanse Schans windmills, there was not enough time to visit the shops for sounvenirs. Would suggest to cutback time at Volendam as there was more than enough time to take lunch and visit the shops. Although Marken itself is interesting, there is not much to see while taking the boat from Volendam to Marken. Truly enjoyed the tour and is highly recommend.

Very glad that we made the decision to join this day tour instead of getting there by ourselves. We are very grateful and happy that we had 小芳 as our guide for the trip. She was not only very friendly and helpful, also very thoughtful and took great care of us! There was a traffic accident on the highway, on our way to the Giethoorn area which resulted us being almost an hour late. 小芳 was worried about us not being able to get the best out of the area, she skipped lunch and walked with us , explaining in detail about the area. A very enjoyable trip with very good narratives from 小芳 !
