Penang Workshops

One of the cutest activities we've tried in Penang! Super fun, beginner-friendly, and you get to bring home your very own plushie Definitely an experience that heals your inner child.

Worth the time 🥺, was having fun throughout the session, but probably the wheel throwing can be a bit longer ☹️Looking forward to the collection of the fired ceramic 🫶🏼

Had such a lovely experience at OLA Studio. The studio was bright, super clean, welcoming, and full of creative energy with other people enjoying different craft classes too. After a really clear introduction covering the do’s, don’ts, and a practice session, I was off tufting my little heart out. Three hours later, a tufting masterpiece was born! The atmosphere was calm and relaxed with no pressure at all, which made it really enjoyable even as a beginner. One thing I really appreciated was being able to send my design idea beforehand, so it was already drawn onto the canvas ready for me when I arrived. location: equipment: A little tip for anyone booking: if possible, plan to collect your tufting the next day. I didn’t realise beforehand that if you want to take it the same day, you’ll need to allow extra time for trimming and finishing. Such a fun, creative experience and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Penang looking for something different to do.

Had an absolutely fantastic time at this whiskey tasting! The host’s passion for whiskey is truly infectious, and their depth of knowledge made the entire experience both educational and engaging. From exploring complex flavor profiles to learning the stories behind each distillery, every sip was a highlight. Whether you’re a seasoned whiskey drinker or a curious beginner, this experience is an absolute must. Highly recommended!

Trisha is amazing. highly recommend for anyone who wants to get into pottery or just wants to try and experience it. she doesn’t put any pressure on you, and guides you to discover what works best for you. definitely would be back again!
