Things to do in Bangalore

Overall, I had a pleasant trip. I learned more about India’s history, tried some exceptional local cuisine, was accompanied to buy souvenirs from nearby shops, and I’m also grateful to the friendly tour guide and driver who made the Bangalore tour memorable.

I recently did a solo tour in Bangalore visiting five amazing sites, and I had such a wonderful experience! Amazing guide, very safe, & smooth logistics. I actually booked just a day before, and the team reached out immediately to confirm everything. My tour guide, RAGHU, was fantastic! He’s very fluent in English, which made it so easy to understand the history and stories behind each site. He explained everything very clearly and cohesively, which is a huge plus if you’re traveling in India and want someone fluent & knowledgeable by your side. The tour itself was very EXTRA accommodating — I had plenty of time at each site, and the pace was just right. Radhu also took a lot of beautiful photos of me during the tour so I’m very happy as well. haha. Our driver was very friendly too, and the car was comfortable for getting around. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience for a solo female traveler like me. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bangalore…

We departed Bangalore at 7 AM and returned around 6:30 PM. The driver, Akshay, had been in contact via WhatsApp since the day before, and he arrived at the hotel 30 minutes before our scheduled departure, so we were able to leave on time. The guide we met in Mysore, Devraj, was extremely knowledgeable, and his explanations were easy to understand. I gained new knowledge about things like the Mysore Wars, which added depth to the tour. Mysore Palace was more magnificent than I had imagined, and it was very impressive. Overall, I was particularly satisfied with the quality of the guide and the driver, but if there was a drawback, it was that the car was old. Also, I thought the Sand Museum wasn't really necessary. There is no Japanese language support, but it is highly recommended for people who have a certain level of English proficiency.
