Berlin Day trips

Met the best tour guide, Anja, who was funny and detailed in her explanations! English tour (I could understand the English she spoke). Although there were no headphones or mics, the tour guide stopped at each point and explained things in a circle. The tour started at 10:30 and had a 30-minute break after 2 hours (that day was a once-in-a-century cold snap in Germany, and Anja took us to a coffee shop to warm up and use the toilet). We disbanded around 3 o'clock, constantly weaving through the city; seemingly ordinary buildings were actually full of historical significance. (It was originally a 4-hour trip, but Anja had so many events to share that it was slightly delayed). After this trip, I understand the city of Berlin even more. I personally watched quite a few YouTxxx travel expert videos, but actually participating in the tour (+ guided tour) was a deeper experience, highly recommend this trip.

The tour was great! seeing various different parts of Berlin, getting to know the history of the country, and the tour guide was very informative and friendly.

Sarah was a great guide. Clear, detailed, & very thoughtful in timing our visit to the barackes (museum) to avoid crowds. A truly memorable place for us.

The scheduled three-hour tour ended up taking three and a half hours to complete. We covered most of Berlin's historically important sights. We also took a break at the Humboldt University Law School (where you can buy coffee, use free restrooms, etc.). I highly recommend this tour, and our guide Maria was very enthusiastic. The only thing to note is that early February is extremely cold, and the tour is all outdoors, so you really need to wear a lot of clothes. Very good to see the history. a little bit surprised to see the lack of what repentance from what Germans actually did…

Our guide Maria led us on an incredibly poignant, insightful and detailed tour of Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp. Striking a great balance of solemn, light hearted and tactful, this tour is an important part of preserving the legacy of a terrible part of our collective history. This is not to be missed. Eran, our guide for this walking tour was insightful, warm and personable, provided a thoughtful glimpse into the history of the regime and brought more context to places and sites. highly recommended
