Things to do in Taitung

The snorkeling instructor was very professional and went over important safety tips before we got into the water. Having tried diving and snorkeling elsewhere before, I was amazed by the sheer number of fish I saw this time—a pleasant surprise! The instructor warned us to be careful not to get bitten by the fish. Because this is a conservation area, the fish aren't afraid of humans and are particularly abundant. I highly recommend snorkeling here; I was very satisfied with the experience, thumbs up! Non-swimmers don't need to be afraid either—I can't swim myself! The nighttime activity was deer spotting, but unfortunately, we didn't see any that day (the guide said it's all about luck). Memorable highlights included the Guanyin statue and the introduction to the golden toad, etc. The guide even caught a toad with a "full face of makeup" to introduce to us, and it looked a little cute.

The communication a day before the tour was great. Klook rep contacted via whatsapp and Guide 陈先生 followed up with the contact. Guide was early and explained the itinerary before our set off, it ended up as a private tour was there wasn’t anyone else. 陈 took us on a relaxed and chilled ride, introducing us to the scenic spots and the way of life in taitung. Much appreciate his sharing and knowledge! Recommend! Great flexibility and comfortable tour.

Location: Near the Chaikou Snorkeling Area on the north side of Green Island. Equipment: Masks, snorkels, wetsuits, and booties are fully provided; you only need to wear your swim trunks or swimsuit. Instructors: The instructors are enthusiastic, attentive, and provide clear guidance, allowing even first-time snorkelers to gradually feel comfortable and confident. When we left, the children forgot their glasses, and the instructor even went out of their way to deliver them to the fishing port. Safety: Certified professional instructors accompany you the entire time. Experience: The coastal scenery of Green Island is magnificent, and the underwater world is rich and colorful. Having professional instructors from Shuishingjia to guide you allows for a safe and reassuring experience. The instructors also take professional photos and videos on the side to capture and record wonderful memories.

I specifically took the train to Taitung, but then arranged to drive around Taitung, and by the time I arrived in Chishang, I was questioning my decision! However, I'm so glad I included this experience; it was incredibly beautiful, fun, and a relaxing way to enjoy the scenery ❤️ You absolutely must visit Chishang! Highly, highly recommended. Being so close to both the Central Mountain Range and the Coastal Mountain Range was truly wonderful 👍

I had a lovely time at the workshop making my own unqiue braclet. Although my mandarin isn't very good, I managed to understand the process with the instructor's great demonstration and basic english. She helped guide me through the different stages of melting the glass, combining colours and creating cool patterns on the bead. The workshop itself is in an old sugar factory, which has been converted into art and craft studios and eating establishments, so definitely have a look around!

location: the place location is very nice.. having a open air hot spring is wonderful.. especially this is the only salt water hot spring in taiwan..

It was great! I found this outdoor hot spring online while looking for information about hot springs. The pools are quite large, and although there aren't many types, it's very comfortable. There's also a restaurant inside, but we didn't eat there this time because it was fully booked.

love this tribal village visit and enjoyed their delicious lunch and beautiful song and dance performance. many hands on experiences to try too. highly recommend to visit
