Things to do in Nikko

Our tour guide, Ko, in particular, led and informed us very well. He answered questions in English very well and also provided great explanations about the history of the area around Tokyo Station, Tokyo in general, and the sights we visited. The bus driver transported us expertly and safely. We would like to thank both of them for a wonderful day trip.

A must-to-go trip. Beautiful scenery especially the Kegon fall and Shinkyo bridge. Toshogu shrine visit was good too. Along the way to these sites, we passed by Irohazaka which makes me think of the race scene in Initial D movie. Our tour guide, Yuma, was very fluent in English and friendly.

Tour is well organized, all the sites mentioned in the itinerary were covered, the tour guide was informative and gave us sufficient free time at each site visit, the pick up point at tokyo station was a bit confusing and the weather was a rainy day,which was the only difficulty we had to face.

Shout out to Junha for being the best guide! Nikko was memorable, though not a full foliage, nature and chilly wind made it one for the books! yet another successful trip with Klook. looking forward to another one soonest!

Our guide was wonderful! I booked this Nikko day tour at the last minute, and Vera responded to my questions promptly, even close to midnight. Vera was very patient and explained each attraction clearly. Her kindness and professionalism made the trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour!

Toshogu temple is our highlight of our 19 days of Japan trip, in which we visited 13 temples. It’s simply unmissable. Neither my words nor my photos can do it justice. our klook tickets were easy to change in tourist information office at the Nikko station. It takes about 10 minutes waiting time if there’s a queue. No problems at the gates , temple is very crowded. take your time and don’t rush. If you go very early or after 16:00 when the tourist groups leave it will be much more serene.

Such a wonderful experience! We dressed up and wandered the location. Had some Japanese comedy theater and even a (I think) a random action play in one of the street of Edo. Very entertaining! Unfortunately, pictures taken cannot justify the actual beauty of the place. Redemption of ticket is very seamless as well
