Got ourselves a 7-day Global Pass and travelled through 5 countries. Buying the pass was easy but how to use the app for activating the pass will need some time to learn. However, fear not as there are many experienced people out willing to share. Do some readings and join some fb travel groups and you will surprised by the information available. The pass was flexible but the train schedule can be unpredictable which means you need to be updated requently to stay on course of your journey. We only experienced one hicccup on one of the trips at Berlin due to seat reservation issue and missing the connecting train due to delay of the first train. The other trips were as planned.

Easy to use, just need to activate before you take the train and scan the QR code on the gate. Britrail pass is the solution for multi-city journey, as train can change schedule anytime or gone (no more that timing). Keep checking on the hanging screen to see whether your train change platform / change timing / gone

It's very convenient to use. I saw a local notice saying that it would be available even before 9 AM starting in September, but further confirmation is needed. If you're visiting Scotland, it would be really convenient to purchase and go.

I booked this tour after reading a review from someone who seemed to be Japanese and had taken the same course. As a huge Harry Potter fan, I thought, "I can't miss this opportunity!" 🧙♂️✶ It turned out to be fantastic! 👏🏻🌿✨ Not only did we visit Harry Potter-related locations, but we also got to try famous Scottish whisky ice cream and see Highland cattle – it was even more packed with experiences than I expected! I went with a friend who is fluent in English, while I'm not as proficient, but the explanations were easy to understand, and the jokes were great and made it very enjoyable. (Even if your English isn't great, you can still enjoy it because the content is amazing, but you'll have even more fun if you understand some English, as you'll be able to appreciate the historical background and jokes!) We all sang Queen songs together, and the bus tour itself had a unique, overseas atmosphere, which was wonderful! 🎶 Our tour guide was a woman named Holly 🫶🏻 Thank you for the wonderful tour!! (There were families, couples, and solo travelers on the tour, so it seems like it would be enjoyable for a wide range of ages!) (There were a few slightly elevated areas to get to the viewpoints! Be careful with your shoes 👟)

Our tour guide was Jen and she was knowledgable and hilarious! Her storytelling is great, it was easy to follow and listen through.
The overall experience took about 1.5hrs including the walk from St Giles Cathedral, entry was also simple and quick. Edinburgh is quite rainy in November so bring a small umbrella or wear a waterproof jacket.
We had to walk up slopes, stairs and stand around so make sure you are able to stand and walk for about 1.5hrs. We were also free to explore the castle on our own after the tour.
Would recommend if you love hearing about history and there are some things that you will not find out if you do a self guided tour, the locals know best. easy to redeem via Klook.
