Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square & Treasure Museum Small Group Tour

Choosing Linda as our guide for Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City was the best decision we made in Beijing. Her deep historical insights and engaging storytelling made every palace and hall fascinating. She spoke perfect English with a warm and friendly tone that made everyone feel welcome. Linda skillfully organized our visit to skip busy spots and make the most of our time. She shared interesting cultural facts that we would never find in guidebooks. just wow. We started the tour pretty at 9.30, it consider pretty late compared with other. But during the line up before entering the Tiananmen, our guide JULIA (remember her name), is very informative compared with others group. She's explaining a lot of history background and some trivia with very fluent English and very funny too. She's non stop machine of history teacher, explain step by step and minute by minute. Tour took around 5 hours walking, prepare comfort shoes, water and small meal (such as bread or onigiri), we are not stopping for lunch during the tour, make sure have a big breakfast. Tour finish at 16.00 and she gives us the recommendation restaurant to try too.

Guide: The day before the tour, the Mubus bus team will send you a message of the itenerary details the day before via WhatsApp or WeChat. The meeting point is accurate as per Klook, and it very easy to spot them. Our specific guide, Peter, is friendly and accomodating. He explained to us as clearly as possible about the history of the landmarks we went. Itinerary: We were able to cover everything in the irinerary, as expected from this guide. Quality of transfer: Our main mode of transfer is walking. It was alot of walking undee the hot summer day so it felt a bit uncomfortable since all the places we went have little to no shade. Value for money: Overall, this tour is excellent for people who want to know more about the history of China's well-known landmarks. But be sure to do this tour during cooler months so you feel more comfortable during the tour.

Neo was a very knowledgeable guide! He was able to explain different parts of the forbidden city and I managed to learn and retain a lot of things I didn'tknow before about the place. Highly recommend this tour!

Our guide was Shine. He took us to less crowded routes and he was a good and engaging storyteller, with a booklet that showed closeups, portraits, and pictures of areas that are now prohibited for public entry. He pointed out a lot of fun facts that we could keep looking out for during the tour and beyond. He also made the reservation for my friends and I to eat Peking duck after the tour when we asked for a recommendation.

We have David as tour guide and he’s wonderful. He is knowledgeable and you can see that he love what he is doing. Hope you have David when you have tour in forbidden city. Tip: its a walking tour please do wear comfortable shoes and also check the weather. Its raining as we end our tour.

Thank you to Miss Helen because she provided detailed and careful explanations for every place we visited, making the experience very informative and easy to understand. She also helped us with the booking process, ensuring everything went smoothly from start to finish. During the tour, even though it was drizzling, she remained very committed in explaining each location and kindly helped us find shelter whenever the rain became heavier. I was travelling with my family, including a baby and she was very thoughtful. She even provided us with an umbrella free of charge after the tour which we really appreciated. She also guided us on the best places to stop and where it was convenient to take a DiDi. Overall, she is very kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. Bravo to Miss Helen !
