Reviews
A very educational walking tour that I highly recommend especially if youre interested in learning more about the town’s history. I highly commend Mr. Nagafuchi , our guide who was very knowledgeable about Hakata. He was such a trooper explaining to us the many things about Hakata plus the 3 hour walking under not so good weather since it rained that day of our tour and it was really windy. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed this tour. Thank you very much Mr. Nagafuchi!
very smart way to start your trip here in Fukuoka. Mr. Naga Fuchi is awesome, a perfect example of Japanese hospitality. Beside the walking tour, Mr Naga Fuchi really amaze me the most. A senior japanese that is stronger than me. haha. amazing
Mr. Yongbuchi is really a great tour guide! During the days when I went to Fukuoka, typhoon No. 6 was about to land, and Mr. Nagabuchi communicated with me in advance in the email to adjust the time! The itinerary design is very good, there will be a historical part of Fukuoka/Hakata, and the temples and shrines to see are very interesting! In addition to explaining the history, Mr. Yongbuchi will also provide some information! Not only can you listen to it, but you can also watch it! Moreover, Mr. Nagabuchi has a deep connection with China, he has been to China many times, and he has taught Japanese to foreigners in universities! I really like this temple tour in Fukuoka. If I have the opportunity to come to Fukuoka again, I would also like to participate in the tour route led by Mr. Nagabuchi again!
this walking tour is very educational,a must for any first time visitors to learn about hakata.
The tour guide, Mr. Nagabuchi, is super attentive, and each scenic spot has benefited a lot. We ate the rice cakes recommended by him. I heard that it is a food that is only eaten during the Chinese New Year in Japan. In addition, we also met Mr. Shengyi Guoshi and Mr. Xie Guoming, who are very important to Hakata. , is a great trip to the history of Hakata!
very interesting and informative tour! The guide described different things as we walked along the streets. It was raining heavily but the guide still walked with me to visit all the places. Got a chance to learn a little about Japanese culture and asked questions. I was honored to have a quick lunch with the guide and he walked me back to the Hakata station and helped me look around for sneakers as mine were soaking wet. I really appreciate his kindness ☺️
Totally a knowledgeable hakata walking tour. learn all about history of the city. Our Guide Mr Nagafuchi was so nice, very informative and accommodating. He knows well everything. will definitely comeback and visit again this place.
Nagafuchi-san was knowledgeable about the local Fukuoka. If you have three to five hours to do a historical stroll, you must be satisfied with his company.
A good start (aka introduction) to know more about Fukuoka and its history. The guide is very knowledgeable, very friendly, and can speak english well. Just use your comfiest shoes.
My guide, Nagafuchi-san, was very accommodating and explained the sites very well. He even gave me flyers about what to eat in Fukuoka and taught me how to go around the city via bus. The tour itself was great too. Gave a glimpse of old town Hakata and how it used to be. Highly recommended for first timers in Fukuoka!
