It was my first time to participate in a Sapporo tour. Although I didn’t see many reviews, I still wanted to give it a try because Daisetsuzan National Park felt like it was worth a visit, so I signed up. The distance is a bit far, so the drive took quite a long time, but it is a pity that there is no translator, and the tour guides only speak Japanese (most of the buses are Japanese local tourists, which are very authentic one-day tours), so it is not very clear. The history behind the attractions, but there is no problem with basic communication 👍 It’s a bit cold when we get to the top of the mountain after taking the cable car for fifteen minutes. It is recommended to wear a hat or the cold wind will hurt your head. The top of the mountain is really spectacular and beautiful. You can see It takes about an hour and a half to walk around the summit lake and geothermal valley. It is a leisurely and relaxing nature trip. After that, I went to Shikisai-no-Oka in the afternoon. It only took 30 minutes, which was a bit short, but it was enough to take a few pictures. In fact, just take a few beautiful pictures of the lush flowers. Because they are basically the same, you can buy a cantaloupe ice cream to taste. one time. Overall, it is quite recommended. If you feel that time is short for Shikisai Hills, you can choose a trip specifically to Furano and Shikisai Hills. You will have more time to walk through the entire garden, but the top of the mountain is really recommended. 🫶

It's the end of September now. The weather was good when we set off, but when we entered the mountains at noon, it started to rain. After getting on the ropeway to reach the 1,600-meter-high hanging garden, the climbing path seems very difficult. Young people can still climb it, but it is very difficult for seniors over 60 years old. It takes more than an hour to walk around in one circle. It is not recommended. The elders go. Shikisai-no-Oka is very nice. Even though it is autumn, the flowers are still very beautiful.

A great itinerary. You can reach Asahidake, the highest peak in Hokkaido, and enjoy the beautiful maple leaves without driving. Admiring the sea of flowers at Shikisai-no-oka and eating cantaloupe ice cream, it’s such a rich one-day trip!

Suitable for people who don't drive by themselves, bus pick-up is very convenient. The flower fields are beautiful, and it would be even better if the visit could be longer. Recommended.
